ShiKai Very Clean Bamboo Body Scrub (Relax Lavender, 6 oz) | Gentle Hydrating & Exfoliating Skin Cleanser | With 5 Fruit Complex & AHA Acids

I have liked ShiKai products for many years, especially their shower gel. It is one of the few products that I buy over and over again and even give to people as gifts...it is just so great. So, I was excited to try a body scrub from this brand because I hadn't before. The scent is so good, just bright, refreshing, but not overpowering in the least. I absolutely love the all-star ingredients in this scrub--AHA/glycolic/lactic acids, vitamins, etc. It is effective when applied with the hands, but even more so with a washcloth or an exfoliating mitt. Be sure to hydrate with the ShiKai body lotion within a minute or two of getting out of the shower, after using this scrub, and your skin will be extra soft and smooth. I so appreciate that this product is natural and free of gluten. I have super sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate me in the least.

This scrub has a gentle grit, so it does not feel abrasive in any way. It’s like a wash with scrub rather than full out scrub. The natural fragrance is pleasant and my skin felt clean and fresh after I washed with this. I found I liked it best in places which might be a bit more stinky or sweaty, to really give a good wash to the skin. The lavender is always a favorite and this is a natural one. I like the scrub and will remember it in the future; it would be a fun stocking stuffer too, with a colorful bottle. I like it a lot !! Recommend!

Got this for my husband who adores a vanilla (or any “bakery” scent). But he is weird about soaps and scrubs: he hates using anything that leaves a film. He likes that this does NOT do that, it rinses clean, and that it offers a good medium lather. The exfoliation is not too hardcore, won’t scrub your skin right off. (This performs best paired with a loofah; a washcloth isn’t ideal). Scent wise, this is mild; if you appreciate a highly fragranced formula that lingers through the day, then you may be disappointed.This leaves his skin feeling clean and quite soft but we can’t describe it as especially moisturizing— it doesn’t dry you out nor provide a pack of dewiness (most soaps marketed as 'scrubs' aren't typically very moisturizing). Thus it’s good for most all skin types as we'd describe this as solidly middle of the road.Hubby has the ShiKai hand lotion in this scent too, he *really* likes the lotion and we’d definitely buy that again. As for this soap, as much as it’s a decent formula, I can’t say we’d go out of our way to purchase again due to the price point vs volume received and ultimate payoff. We like it a lot-- and since I'm triggered by strongly perfumed things, I do appreciate it doesn't make my eyes burn or cause a sneezing fit-- but it doesn't knock our socks off.

"Bamboo Scrub"This scrub has few gritty particles/exfoliant in a gel-like substance so I thought it felt more like a bodywash. I prefer a grittier scrub but people with sensitive skin might prefer this which isn't abrasive. It's lightly scented too.

This scrub has a wonderful relaxing scent. I love lavender and it is especially nice to use right before bedtime. This works up a good lather and it has some very fine exfoliating pieces in it. The cleaner is like a viscus clear liquid. I like this a lot and highly recommend it.

This has a very refreshing citrusy scent. You can feel the tiny exfoliating bits in it. It doesn't say to rinse it off but I assumed that that was what was to be done, though I tried to make sure I didn't rinse it too well as I wanted to make sure the smell stayed on my skin (it did).It was exactly what I would expect a citrusy scent to be like, truly a refreshing scent.

This very well may become my favorite scrub. It smells great and doesn't feel harsh on my skin. I love the Coconut scent and the little bit of fruitiness that comes with it. It rinses off great and doesn't leave any residue behind. I am slightly uncomfortable with how long the ingredients list is, but for the results I have experienced, I will overlook that. LOL Definitely worth the price point. Would 100% recommend.

This body scrub comes in a 6 oz squeeze tube with a flip-top cap. I really appreciate this application as I feel it's much easier to use in the shower compared to scrubs that come in a jar.The scrub itself is gel-like and contains fine grit that creates a gentle exfoliation. The gel-to-grit ratio is really excellent as it's more comfortable and doesn't cause a large concentration of grit in any one area (possibly causing discomfort from over-exfoliating).I was a little surprised by the scent. I ordered the Refreshing Coconut but it has a very fruity element to it. I see that it contains ingredients that would make it smell fruity but I didn't pick up much of a coconut scent from it. I think perhaps they should have titled this as a different scent because it's not coconutty enough to say it's coconut.After using the product I was really pleased with the way my skin felt. It felt much smoother and did feel more refreshed than before. I'm happy with the results I had from using it, I love the scent and appreciate the squeeze tube, I just think they needed to call this a different scent because it's not coconut.
