Weatherproofing tape.
The tape was used to seal the plastic front of a portable poolside pace timing clock to the outer painted case. The tape survived about 5 years use of being constantly splashed without peeling off. I think that the tape would of lasted longer but the clock broke down. The tape also seems very abrasion resistant. The clock was used indoors, so I have no information on how UV resistant it is in sunlight.`The tape is much thicker than your normal parcel tape. Take care when applying to avoid air bubbles as they are more difficult to remove due to the tapes thickness.

Seems to be doing the job at the moment
Seems to do the job, we were recommended this product to reseal a caravan window. Easy to use and up to now (3 weeks) it has stayed in place and the window has stopped leaking. It is not however as sticky as some of the reviews suggested so I hope it does stay in place over the coming months and I do not have to keep re-applying, time will tell.

Very sticky when it sticks
Sticks well to glass but not so well to UPVC - maybe that's not one of the 'hard plastics' suitable for the product. It is a little hard to apply without ending up with air bubbles as the adhesive is very strong. When trying to remove the air bubbles it's quite easy to stretch the material. It would be ideal for small repairs.

I used it on polycarbonate roof sheets
I have used Sylglas aluminium tape to repair my conservatory roof in the past - it appears to be thick bitumen based tape. This Weatherproofing tape is somewhat different. It is more like a self adhesive clear polythene tape. There was hail stone damage to the clear polycarbonate sheet roof of my 14 years old conservatory. The majority of the damage was in the form of 'C' shaped cracks up to 20mm in length. There were also two holes of similar size. The damage was confined to just the outer wall of the multi-wall sheets and so no rain water was getting into the conservatory. Consequently, I did not feel it was necessary to replace the roofing sheets yet.I carefully cleaned and dried the areas around the cracks/holes. The surface of the polycarbonate sheet had weathered over the years and so the surface texture felt a bit rough when compared to the smooth texture of the internal facing side of the same sheets. The tape appears to adhere well. Outdoor temperature was around 9C in March 2015.When I tried to remove one of the tapes, it came off cleanly without leaving any adhesive residue on the roofing sheet.Only time will tell whether this product is durable and remains stuck to the old polycarbonate sheets. An alternative product may be Gorilla Clear Repair tape..I will update this comment in months/years to come.

Glass Roof Repair
The roof was sealed in the Autumn and despite the gales of the last 8 weeks no water has seeped through even though lead flashing elsewhere has failed. Very impressive performance and easy to apply.

Does not stick well
I cleaned glass surface on my conservatory with soap and water, dried and then cleaned surface with Alcohol. Used tape and pressed down with clean cloth. Conservatory leak free for a few days then leak appeared again. On inspecting the repair, the tape had come unstuck. The product does not work as stated. Very poor
