We have tried this dog collar on our one-year-old dachshund. He had become quite aggressive in his barking at other dogs or passer by's. We tried this dog collar, and it has worked exceptionally.My goal was to use only the beep or the vibrate to correct bad behavior.Unfortunately, we had to use the shock part two times.The good news is, that's all we had to use it for we use the lowest voltage.Now all we have to do is press the beep for when he gets too excited about reading another dog. And the vibrate if he starts barking aggressively. He responds positively quickly. we use this color lesson less now. Because it has helped change his response to other dogs.

This is the second training collar I have bought off of Amazon, the first one I got had a great reviews, but when I used it on my very stubborn, 85 pound English bulldog it did absolutely nothing, not on vibrate, not on shock, trying to keep him from running off in the road, or in the woods getting into poison ivy, ect, or in other peoples yards. wanted to be able to not have to leash him Everytime he needed to use the bathroom, I have tried every other thing to get him to listen, and a training collar was the last resort, I ordered this collar and tried it on myself first, it had a loud warning beep, a stern vibration and the shock actually works, I know a lot of people don’t like the idea of a shock collar, but it truly lasts a second, and is just enough to get their attention, and keep them under control. I wouldn’t go further then level 6, and that was just me trying it on my hand, not neck. I used the shock on the lowest setting once, and got an immediate reaction, I don’t think I will have to use the shock again! That’s the beauty of the warning beep and vibrate. If your thinking about buying it for a stubborn pup, do it, wish I would of found this months ago.

I’ve had this collar for about 3 months. I charge the collar about every 1-2 weeks and the transmitter about every 2-3 weeks. The collar is still in great condition. I did trim off some of the excess and burned the ends to prevent unraveling. I also loop some of the excess back through the buckle and back around between the fabrics in the buckle to prevent the collar from loosening. I check to make sure all functions are working every morning…I do check the shock on my fingers, if it’s too much for me, it’s too much for my dog! Sometimes the shock is weak or not working, but it is because either one or both units need to be charged, the prongs have vibrated loose or there’s something in the prongs (hair or dirt) that needs to be cleaned out. Yes, the prongs will vibrate loose. (That’s the reason for 4 stars…I’d give it 4.5 if that were an option). She did lose one, and I ordered replacement prongs. We did find it, so now I have 2 spare long prongs and several short ones. I have found that the beeping typically stops unwanted behavior, and if not the vibration usually does the trick. I rarely have to shock her and only use that when she’s not listening/paying attention and is doing something she really should not be doing. Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase. The price was great. I do recommend and would purchase again if needed.

Keep in mind, I've never owned a shock collar before, but this has 3 different buttons, sound, vibration, and shock. It has 2 different length of probes. It has different channels so you can use 1 remote for 2 collars and different strengths for the shock. I have a submissive dog, but when she sees or gets a whif of an animal, I could scream all day and she would continue to chase whatever she was after. Those days are over! I wish I had gotten this sooner. I almost never have to use the shock to get her to comply. I use the sound and vibration the most. Good price on this collar too! Thank you!

Got this after I had returned another shock collar for dog training. This one is easy to use, easy to charge and stays charged for days!!!!!

It works great, definitely worth the money paid for it. The only problem I had was my dog would scratch its neck and would pop the connection of the provided collar every so often. Eventually, he broke it completely so I had to make shift my own collar with the device. Still works and lasts a very long time for my used. I’ve only had to shock twice and use vibrate and sound for other instances. Would be a 5/5 if the collar strap was made of better materials but still worth the cheap price for sure.
