I've been using this as a reusable diaper bin and it works great, however I wish the sides were square or round, not an awkward rectangle shape. The bag also sometimes gets caught whem removing. Contains smells well and I like that it essentially holds the bag open so I don't have to touch the bag at all. It's a good height and is just a little bit smaller than 13 gallons and much larger than the ubbi baby diaper pail (in first photo). Nora's nursery wet bags fit great in here also.

We've had this diaper bin for a few months now after our other one of simular size, from another popular brand that starts with a D, broke. I take care of someone with special needs, and he is incontinent. It's super easy to use and looks like a regular trash can, no more fiddling with complicated bag refills, just use regular large trash bags (I recommend the glad clorox ones). It holds a few days worth of size 11 youth crews diapers with a super sposie booster pad. It's easy to open so if you have someone who gets into their diaper bin or large pets, this might not be the best choice for you. Smell isn't bad so long as you use deodorizers (we use the febreze pet small spaces cartridges, and sprinkle some arm and hammer dumpster deodorizer right on the diapers when it gets extra stinky). As with any diaper bin some smell is released when u open it so u want some air freshener on hand for when its opened. I recommend wiping it down with a cleaning wipe (not too wet as you don't want to cause rust) and then letting it air out for a few hours every few times it's emptied to prevent moisture buildup, bacteria growth and any smells from sticking to it.

Keeps odor in and holds a lot of adult diapers. Really helps keep the room from smelling like a sick room. No problems removing. Love that it uses regular bags. Easy to use. Great value, worth the cost.

Works perfectly for those who need an odor free pail for adults. However, the can internally can hold on to odors. So be sure to clean it regularly and use charcoal odor absorbing pads or Lysol spray.

Really seals out odor

Disposing of XXL adult incontinence diapers and pads is a gross proposition, this diaper pail makes it far less so, and less expensive in the long run. Yes, nearly $100 for a diaper pail is a bit expensive-on the surface, when compared to baby diaper pails. However, baby diaper pails use special "continuous roll" bags for the waste. The bags aren't inexpensive. They don't hold much and can leak if you don't tie the bottom knots correctly. This adult pail uses 13 gallon tall kitchen bags. I recommend the Glad Force Flex Odor Seal leak resistant bags. My wife's diapers have lots of urine in them. The pail, combined with quality bags keeps odors confined and makes disposal of the nasty waste much easier. I definitely recommend this adult diaper pail.

I loved my UBBI so much until after only 3 months THE LID BROKE. I'M AN 80 YEAR OLD FEMALE AND THIS WAS WONDERULY AT KEEP ODORS DOWN AND CONVENIENT IN MY TEENY BATHROOM. My children had me move out of my beautiful "2-story" home into a independent senior living apartment (small) and I didn't want any lingering smells. I've searched everywhere for a new lid and can't find one. I hate to buy another brand, but will look around. Currently I keep the lid balanced on top and never let the paid get full.

The unit is not cheap, but it is well made and does the job. The plastic folding ring is a little flimsy, but as long as you're not ham fisted you should be fine. The big plus is that you don't need special bags. I wish they made a smaller pet version. The pet lockers I have our plastic, gimmicky and a pain to use. They also make a fortune on their custom bags of course.

This diaper pail is excellent at blocking odors. Smells are noticeable only when opening the lid or changing the bag. Otherwise, it feels airtight and effectively contains unpleasant odors. Its sturdy stainless steel design is durable and easy to clean, and the bags are very easy and convenient to replace thanks to the special ring inside that holds them in place. I use Ubbi's own specialized bags, and they fit perfectly. The only downside I’d note is the high price, but the quality is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended.
