I purchased this book for a friend’s son who was recently diagnosed with type one diabetes. I found this to be an excellent resource for children navigating this condition. When we first got this book we opened it up and read it while my son was asleep. He has NOT put this book down. He was diagnosed a week ago, so he is loving connecting to it.

Very cute picture book! Relatable for kids with type 1 diabetes and will make them feel seen. Also would be a great book for their friends or classmates to read, to help understand what they are going through. My girls liked the cute illustrations and particularity trying to find the little worm hiding in the pictures. Get it for your type 1 kid and get an extra copy for their friends or the school/classroom library.

this book is a great tool for talking to kids about diabetes. When a child is diagnosed with this they are sure to have many questions. The story is cute and so are the illustrations!
