Be the hero with the Olsa Hex bit Organizer with Strong Magnetic
My lovely bride says she enjoys working with me on home remodeling projects. I suspect these projects move along faster when she is working alone and I'm not there over-analyzing and overthinking everything. One day in the not too distant past, I arrive home from work and a new picture has been hung on the wall of the living room. In addition, the old ratty window blinds have been removed and new wooden blinds have been installed. I head to the bathroom to wash my hands and I see a new towel rack installed, new mirror hung and the outside of the claw foot tub had been painted. I head downstairs to "help" fix dinner and I pass by new books on shelves that were not there this morning. At the bottom of the stairs, the giant picture that had always hung a bit too low, has been raised. I walk through the dining room and the chairs have been reupholstered. The chairs looked fantastic but the air compressor and pneumatic stapler had been left out, again. I pass the bathroom on the main floor. I do a double take and back up to verify the installation of a new toilette. It was a "tall" toilette which can handle 10 golf balls at a time.I look out the bathroom window where the backyard deck is located. Three pressure treated deck boards have been replaced, where the kids had fallen through the deck earlier this month and had sprained an ankle each. It appears a couple coats of water proofing have also been applied to the newly installed deck boards.Approaching the kitchen I can smell dinner is nearly ready. Homemade pasta sauce with Italian sausage is simmering on stove. Fresh homemade bread is in the oven and broccoli is steaming on the the cook top.As I finally walk into the kitchen, something is different. Must be the custom cabinet cover for the dishwasher which has been off for nearly three weeks. It is back on the dishwasher. The "Black & Decker" drill the kids got my bride for Christmas is on the kitchen island with screw tips scattered over. That is when I step in tell my bride about the Olsa Hex Bit Organizer with strong magnetic base. The bits stay put in her tool bag, even when tossed around, yet the bits are easy to get out of the organizer. My baby loves to have her nails done and she goes berserk when she breaks a nail. The Olsa Hex Bit Organizer with strong magnetic base will keep her nails safe, yet keeps the bits in place. I tell my sweetie I'll order the Olsa Hex Bit Organizer with strong magnetic base after dinner and a few drinks. I even decide to help out and tighten some of the handles on kitchen cabinets. My sweet gives me a big hug and tells me I'm the greatest.

I super convenient way to store / keep track of a hex bit collection
Sometimes the simplest solutions (and tools) are the best! This is the latest addition to my list of "must have" accessories.A year ago I ordered a similar, albeit larger, set of magnetic holders for all of my socket wrench heads, and while it cost a few pennies, I've fallen in love with the convenience and orderliness of the setup. Having become frustrated with sorting and retaining my miscellaneous assortment of hex bits, I am pleased to have found this. The good is that it's a solid magnet that easily stays fixed to a vertical steel surface and lets you keep these bits organized. The biggest negative is that the part is smaller than it could be for its capacity - the bits are actually really close together and I would do better if there was just a little more space between them for my fingers to get a grip. But that's relatively minor, all things considered. The holes seem just deep enough, for long and short bits, without being deep enough to lose anything in there. A solid addition to my kit!

Very good for organizing and holding hex bits.
The best bit-holder I own. I have just about every bit you can think of, and I like to leave many of the more common ones accessible near my every day drill (in my work-shop) and also in a drawer of the Bosch Boxx system. I'm using one of the Boxx carrying toolboxesto store a small Bosch impact driver and a separate Bosch drill + all the bits you would normally encounter when doing a repair or whatever. Both these drivers/drills take hex bits. I tried using a few "clamshell" storage boxes -- like the kind sold as a complete set (bit holders, bits, extenders, etc.), but hate them. First, I can't see what's in the clamshell when closed, and secondly, sometimes its difficult to replace a bit or remove a bit. I purchased a few "bullet" containers at a flea market (do a google search on "plastic bullet holder") for this purpose, thinking I found "the" solution. The problem is that the bits fall out of these when I carry the Boxx. (I'm sure to find some use for these ... maybe small artist paintbrushes, dental tools... whatever). So, this Olsa organizer is just about perfect. Hex bits fit snuggly (but not too tight) in the holes, and there is a magnet that holds the bits a little more--preventing them from falling out. One for my "tool Boxx" and the other for my workshop. My only qualm is that I wish it didn't have the larger hole in the center. I would have preferred the entire organizer having just the hex bit holes. I understand what it's for, but maybe (if it's ever redesigned), put this large hole on one of the ends. The problem is that I can't organize a set of more than 6 bits in a single row. E.g., I have a set of 8 "hex" drivers and can't put them all in a single row by size without skipping over the large hole. Also would have preferred rows that don't stagger. I understand that you get a little more clearance between holes on the diagonal, but lining up several sets of bits in a regular square matrix would be better for me. This is just being nit-picky. This is a very useful storage accessory and solved my problem.
