My bobbin case malfunctioned. This one has worked great.

My machine was jamming up with the warning to check bobbin thread and would not sew. Removed bobbin and lightly sanded- didn't solve the issue. Bought this bobbin and my Janome is happily sewing away

I was having trouble with my machine. Terrible racket and tangling thread. Cleaned it, oiled it, no joy. I happened to take my bobbin case out and noticed it was rough, broken in a couple places and then saw a review on here that this might be causing my problem. Sure enough, dropped the new one in and INSTANTLY all was good again. I had almost taken the machine in for repair but didn't. I'm glad now, as it was an easy fix that I could do and would have cost a lot more to find this out at the shop. The JOY is back!

It would not seem like it, but these do wear out with lots of use - this was a perfect OE replacement.

I like that it works.

I thought quite a few things from Amazon's like new, or slightly used selection. The bobbin case had visible damage from the second I unpacked it, in two different spots, and was completely unusable. It definitely should not have been resold.

I also bought the quilting case as well awhile back. Works perfect when quilting.
