I assembled this by myself in an hour. The parts are labeled and directions explicit. I love the quality of the "real" stone surface. It is heavier because of this, but I see that as a good thing. I put this on my porch and it is summer, so evaluating the heat output is a little difficult at this time. However, the flames can go pretty high. I keep them on low when we gather around on my porch. You need your own portable gas tank, but it comes with the hardware to hook it up. I turn the value to the tank off in between uses. The handy access door makes this a breeze. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

This is an attractive product that puts out good heat. We could not get the auto-start feature to work and thought it could be a battery issue, but after trying another battery, we determined that it is some other issue. The product still lights with a lighter, but it is a bit dangerous when the gas is flowing.

It's not as imple to assemble as I'd like, specially if you're one person. But the results are well worth it. Lovely and reliable

Looks nice assembled, works. Lots of very short small short bolts to attach to preassembled top...legs, sides, door, base, etc. about 90 min single person assembly. Suggest magnetic end Philip's to keep from repeatedly dropping tiny bolts. bought canvas like material cover-fits well. Hope slate does not chip nor discolor during Arizona summer. 8 yr old grandson said, "cool" and enjoyed marshmallows and somemores. Paper plates and ceramic mugs ok on slate rim. Plastic - not so much.

For the price, this was a great buy. For the low price it is as expected.

I really like the firepit but when it arrived a large amount of grout missing from around the tiles. Repaired it myself before putting outside. Also one of the legs was drilled and tapped on the wrong side.

Received this and were ready to assemble only to find that the box was torn and were missing bolts and other small parts. We bought bolts and then started assembly only to find that the top was missing some of the grout and a couple tiles were broken. Not happy with the quality.
