Louisiana Bedding Vertical Blue & White Stripe (Extra Pillowcase Pair (50x75cm))

When purchasing bedding, including similar products to this, personal prefences have tended towards the darker tones of whatever colour where then preferred. Having also had a number of issues with poly-cotton bedware, often but not always from a certain low-end high street chain almost always for convenience and easy local travel.I now rather favour lighter tones, and they do not come much lighter than the very pale blue used in these and the broad white stripes they also feature. The colour is pleasing and the pattern quite neutral and unlikely ever to jar. The quality appears to be good and the fabric is equal or very similar to some of the other 200 thread count cotton bedding, mostly fitted sheets and some pillowcases and which have washed and worn very well. As it is now only being opened and used for the first time, washing experiences do not currently apply.

The headline is something used in the distant past, to denote something 'proper' and since this was a gift for my Dad, who loves coming out with that sort of gibberish, it seems appropriate to use, since the duvet covers' got stripes and Dad reluctantly thinks it's 'proper' too! He's been using heavy polyester blankets and those horrible, woolly type sheets with the blue/pink/yellow stripes on for years and since I convinced him to switch to a duvet he makes his bed in the morning in one minute instead of ten, (apparently, these new fangled duvet things just mean modern society has gone soft and it 'wasn't like this in the war'??? but it saves time so it's OK). Anyway...the cover looks great, he sleeps so soundly (though he won't admit it) like a 'top', it's easy to care for and is sized just right. I've said it before but I'll say it again, 'welcome to the 21st century Dad'!

Gotten for my Nana, as the full set only had one pillow case (for a single bed) when we needed two.My Nana loves the set, although we do now have a extra pillowcase, as the extra set had two. But a really minor bug bare really.For the whole set, there's no complaints really. I wish there were two pillow cases in the single set, but alas. Either was my nana really likes the design

Love the stripes, the stripes are very well done, all the stripes are clearly stripey and deliver in all aspects of stripe based stripiness, big thumbs up to the stripe department here who totes delivered!!! Did I mention the stripes?? they are amazing!! ohh stop it!

Just what I needed

The duvet covers are for my twin beds in our grandson’s room at our house. They look smart. The blue and white stripes are stylish and make the room look bright and fresh. The fabric is excellent quality, not thin but still soft for the boys comfort. They washed well and I am confident they will last for years. Not cheap but worth every penny.

I love the colour and design it fits well into bedroom theme. I washed my duvet set before using washed well but definitely needs an iron before putting in your bed ( if you don't like ironing bedding this set isn't for you ) when ironing my duvet there was a fault in the pattern which is dissapointing,I would class as seconds and should have been stipulated in product information

I've been searching for a proper cotton Duvet cover & I'vr found it.I might sound OTT but I love this duvet cover its so soft to the touch as quality 100% cotton should be and this was staright out of the package. No stifness just softness. Washed with softner and it's even better hopefully the blue stripes will hold their colour for a long time. Oh I forgot it looks great too imo. Bought a second one with a different pattern. I sound like a softner ad.
