Safrel Pharma’s Mucus Relief Guaifenesin 400 mg has been a go-to in my household for years. It’s fast-acting, reliable, and incredibly effective at thinning and loosening mucus, making it easier to breathe during cold, flu, or allergy seasons. Comparable to Mucinex but at a much more budget-friendly price, this product delivered the same relief without the inflated cost. What made this even better was the availability of the 500-count bottle—a perfect size for families or anyone who uses expectorants regularly. It was convenient, cost-effective, and meant fewer trips to the pharmacy. Unfortunately, it seems that this quantity is no longer available, which is disappointing. It was such a great value. I really hope Safrel considers bringing back the larger count option. Meanwhile, I’ll continue to look for smaller packs, but they just don’t compare in terms of long-term value and convenience. Still, I can’t recommend the product itself enough—it works, it’s affordable, and it’s been a staple in our medicine cabinet for good reason.

Works as expected. The great thing about the Safrel caplet is they are easy to break in half, or other sizes, to tailor to the dosage you need at the time. Less is more when it comes to medicines, so being able to break a 400mg into a smaller dose is a great benefit!

Good value for number of pills. They are not coated, so bitter taste. Worked well if taken consistently every 4 hours.

THE PILLS ARE NICE AND SMALL WHICH MAKES THEM EASY TO SWALLOW. EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT A NAME BRAND, IT WORKS ALMOST AS GOOD. BUT YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE FOR THE NUMBER OF PILLS THAT YOU GET.

These pills work. That is the most important thing to know. The name brand ones are getting way too expensive, and the generic ones I used to get at Costco are no longer available. I tried a different brand that I ordered from Amazon, but it arrived with the safety seal torn off and missing. I decided to give this brand a try and I am so glad I did. The bottle arrived with the safety seal in place. The pills are smaller than other brands I have bought, so they are easy to swallow. I didn't notice any taste when using them. They work well and the price is really good for as many as you get. I was happy enough with the purchase that I ordered another bottle from Amazon. Highly recommend.

These work, good price, nice small easy-to-swallow pills size. Got them when Costco stopped carrying Kirkland Mucus Relief. Both are a generic replacement for Mucinex. My only concern... unclear if these contain benzene, an ingredient used to bind the ingredients, which has recently been declared to be carcinogenic. From what I've heard, only name-brand Mucinex is benzene-free, which is why it's so expensive. So, I've stopped taking these every day, but in a pinch I still take one.
