Just had wood floors put in and did not want to cover the office floor with a rug. I wanted to protect the floor under rolling desk chair without hiding the flooring. This fit the bill. I can see that it would not do over plush carpet but perfect for my needs! I recommend it for hard surfaces that you want to be able to see and protect. I bought the 39" version which fits perfectly partially under the desk and enough outside of the desk to pull my chair out to sit in or roll side to side, keeping the floor visible and nicely protected. FYI: my office chair has 5 rolling castors on it. I plan on getting the large version for my large drafting table chair.

I bought this chair mat to protect my new wood floors. I love that it's clear so my beautiful floor is still visible. I don't move around much in my chair, but when I do, it rolls easily and quietly on the mat. The material is not rigid and won't scratch the floor when repositioned. It's of a thickness that feels very durable. The mat extends about 8 inches past the wheels of my chair. A variety of diameters accommodate different chair and workspace sizes. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

It’s been several weeks now, and the edges are still curled up on this chair mat. Don’t think they are ever going to lay down properly.

I like it. Looks a little like a puddle of water from a distance, but I like being able to see my beautiful floors under my chair.

Perfect! Just got my floors done and this was a must have. Nice and thick and easy to maneuver on!

Works well in the area I needed it for - does pick dust very easily need to clean more often than expected
