Better Than a Big Name Tablet!
This Kindle performs great compared to the old Kindles! They have really amped up their devices, and they really have kept them versatile, super fast, and modern. With the easy to use Android OS, there's really nothing you can't do on these things because you have every app available from the Google Play Store. They are no longer an eReader, but a complete tablet, now. The screen on these things is really outstanding, and images are so crystal clear that its hard to imagine one thats better. If you're considering purchasing a tablet for a kid, don't waste your money on some outrageously expensive tablet that wouldn't perform as well as this tablet would. As someone who has a Samsung tablet and a Kindle, the Kindle is just as good, if not better, than my Samsung. It is enough for any person who uses their tablet to surf, shop, game, and conference. It really is that good! These things are most certainly worth the money!

Fire 10 - You Complete Me
WHY have I waited so long to get a tablet??! This thing is so great, I'm absolutely over the moon.I spend so much time away from the Home PC and I've been trying to live with listening, watching, reading everything on a phone...DONT DO IT, FOLKS!I got this little gadget during the Prime Day sale and the price couldn't be beat. I nearly purchased the Max 11, (price was also great) but read the reviews and decided to go with this one, and I'm so happy I did! The HD screen is flawless. The colour/brightness is perfect. Perfect sensitivity when it comes to the touchscreen and is able to process requests quickly. The screen size is a godsend for anyone using a phone - I watched a movie last night and had no complaints whatsoever!I bought a MePadKey keyboard case to protect the screen while in transit and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I totally recommend getting the keyboard too as it transforms this perfect little tablet into a laptop, poof - just like that! Get some lint-free microfibre cloths to clean the screen occasionally and you're good to go!Ooh! I also spent an extra $15 bucks to remove the ad.....what a stress saver! Now my husband wishes he had done the same with his! (neeener-neener-neeener!)

It does more then is advertised!
I ❤️ the tablet, and wanted to mention a couple of things that one can do with it that maybe one does not know.1. You can screen to a Smart TV, which is great for sharing photos. The smart TV does not have to be an Amazon Fire TV.2. If you put the tablet on Alexa show mode and keep it powered on, having it connectd with a power cable, you can use it as a simple home security camera with the Alexa app.3. WhatsApp has a version on their site you can download directly to your tablet and works seamlessly. So no worries about not finding it in the Amazon App Store.4. You can get the basic if not the same functionality from the website version of most apps lacking from the Amazon Store. Just go to the respective site, sign in, then in settings, add the page to your Fire Home Screen. It will show up like a regular app and you can access it any time. Good for GoogleMaps, Google Voice (yes it works), however with Google Mail, I just use the Microsoft Outlook for it, and I get the same functionalities.

Great Price, Great Product
Only minus one star because I like to use voice to text, and it doesn't seem to work well on this tablet, with stops, starts, missed words etc. so that feature could definitely be improved.Other than that, I love this Fire 10 Tablet.I had a version 7 that someone gave to me, so for that reason I didn't complain too much about performance. I used it mostly to play online solitaire and Kindle. When I was playing solitaire, the game had ads at the bottom and when they ads were changing, the game would stutter. Sometimes during play, the whole screen would blink and maybe if I was lucky, the game would resume. Many times it would go to an error, and I'd have to restart the tablet.On this new Fire 10, video is seamless, and I've experienced no freeze up or stuttering at all with pictures, and another thing I like is that before, when I'd try to move between apps, it took a long time. This new tablet is quick with that too. I've watched Prime Video movies, and the quality is great. I bought a case for it that can serve as a prop to watch movies. That's great because the 10 is a way bigger handful than my old 7.Got this on Prime Day so value was just right. I would say this is a kid-friendly tablet, but honestly it seems a shame to give this quality of a tablet to a younger child. Get them one specific for kids that's in a durable case for sure. This one, nah, the adults should keep it and enjoy great functionality for the price.

Great Value for the Price!
The Fire HD 10 tablet has really impressed me. The screen is bright, sharp, and perfect for watching movies, reading, or browsing the web. It runs smoothly for everyday tasks, and the battery lasts a long time—I can easily go a full day with regular use.I also love how lightweight it is, making it easy to carry around. The expandable storage is a big plus for keeping apps, books, and downloads all in one place. For the price, it’s an excellent balance of performance and affordability.If you’re looking for a reliable tablet for entertainment, reading, or casual use, this one is a fantastic choice!

Nice tablet! You might want to look at the covers when ordering
I have purchased one of these tablets for a family member but this was my first and I really like it. I have had three previous tablets from other makers. The battery life is excellent and the screen quality is great. I often use it with listening to books from Audible. The volume control is good. I believe the tablet has a place for an earphone jack . I cannot use ear buds but I am sure that would be an option. All in all I like this tablet and was happy to purchase it when it was discounted a few months ago.
