wet n wild MegaGlo Hello Halo Liquid Highlighter Makeup, Shimmer, Gold Guilded Glow

I got the Halo Goodbye and Goddess Glow and have loved using them thus far. I've had to learn how to use it though. I don't use it with foundation and a little tiny dot goes a long way. You don't want to cover your face with this. I think it's best as a highlighter for bone structure. You'll notice it is quite shimmery but it isn't so bad that it looks unnatural. At least I don't think so. I've enjoyed using this with my other products and it's always fun creating my unique kind of beauty for the day...and most days this is a part of that. The Halo Goodbye is warmer than the Goddess Glow. I'd recommend following this product. I've purchased many of the options they have for this but I always wait until they go down in price. As I write this the Halo Goodbye is $8.53 and Goddess Glow is $5.43 and I purchased both for $1.41 each. I've noticed that the pricing on the various options varies greatly. So I usually wait until they're around $3.00 to make a purchase. I know it's not saving much, but every little bit helps!! Pros: The price point was unbeatable! The colors are great!It looks natural. It's a little sparkly/glittery. I like a little sparkle...who doesn't?! A tiny bit goes a long way. It works great for highlighting certain features. I bought two extra of these because I had someone give me a newer lighter colored almost a white in this and I was on the lookout for a highlighter that I could mix inside of my makeup, and the first one I purchased was specifically used for that and or by itself as its own foundation, I was very displeased with it's performance that I ended up sending both of the two glotions back. But it's a different name brand than the glotions. Anyways. So, I got these because the price was right and I could get two for the price of one of the ones I almost broke down and purchased. But am glad I got two colors , they both look great added into my foundation or added by themselves and natural glow it gives us beautiful 😍. I most definitely would recommend these for price and mixing abilities they have. Giving a beautiful pearlesant glow almost, natural dewy look, this is very nice mixer.

I don't wear make-up very often so I'm not super-knowledgeable about it. Due to the pandemic I've had to teach my card making clubs and classes online via Zoom... I have quite the set up but the lighting I have for demonstrating the cards on a desktop using my hands with my overhead camera is quite bright and not very flattering when I switch to my regular camera that shows my face. So I thought I'd buy some new make up (most of the stuff I had was outdated) to help with the lighting... lol... it's the lighting, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Not really knowing much about makeup I watched a lot of YouTube videos (Jen Luv, RawBeautyKristi, ThatGirlShae, just to name a few) to get some recommendations and the best bang for my buck. I didn't want to spend a fortune when I knew I wouldn't wear it very often. I researched each component separately... eyeliner, mascara, foundation, primer, blush, highlighter, eyeshadow... just to name a few. I even researched false eyelashes and eyelash curlers... anywho... this highlighter came highly recommended in several reviews especially for being so affordable. I have no issue with the product at all. I think it's just great and well worth the money. The issue I had with it was that the wand was bent slightly and it was difficult to pull it out of the hole it goes through to wipe off excess product when taking the wand out of the bottle to apply the product. The wand was not designed to be bent at all as the picture clearly shows it being as straight as an arrow. I could tell there was something wrong the second I took it out of the box because of the way the lid was closed, it was really wonky and crooked. So besides making it harder to remove the wand from the bottle to apply the product, the bend in the wand made it hard to properly close the lid on the product too so I decided I would return it. Amazon was great about sending me a new one right away and gave me tons of time to return the defective one (in fact I forgot about it and they sent me a reminder so that I wouldn't be charged for an additional one). But I will say that the second one I got also had a wand that was slightly bent. It wasn't bent nearly as bad as the first one and I'm able to close the bottle tightly without a problem and remove the wand from the bottle pretty easily so I don't feel I need to return it. But, I just wanted to give you a heads up about my experience as I think it's strange to get a product with the same defect on its replacement. The product was fine but the packaging was not. One thing I am going to throw out there though is that it seems like Quality Control on so many products purchased in different ways and from many different sources has been lost during this pandemic, not just on this product or from this venue. Before Covid it was extremely rare for us to ever return a product. We've had an Amazon Prime account for many years and we've bought hundreds of products here over the years. Up until this past year, we'd rarely had the need to return anything. But we've had to return more things this past year because of quality issues than all of the other years combined. I hope once we start getting Covid 19 under control that manufacturers and companies don't think that consumers will tolerate the continuing lack of Quality Control so they can save a buck/make a buck on their customer's backs. But I understand there are extenuating circumstances right now so I'm more forgiving.

I was so excited to try this out since I love liquid products, but it kinda disappointed me. It has a really noticeable purple undertone which could be okay with someone else but I was expecting it to be white. I wouldn’t mind at all if it was a bit purple but the undertone it’s so noticeable and i haven’t find a way to use it as a highlighter, I could wear it as a eyeshadow but not as highlighter. If I’m using blush and this highlighter, i look like a rainbow bc of all the colors in my face It has great pigment and longevity which I love, it’s also easy to blend and work with, the only problem is the color that i already talked about

I love these wet and wild liquid highlighters unfortunately, the color I wanted is not sold in any local department stores however I’m always able to find what I need on Amazon. This product works amazingly well and compares to very high-end brands. The consistency is very creamy leaving a soft subtle glow to your cheeks. It comes in a variety of different shades and is very affordable for those on a budget

This review is for the Guilded Glow shade of this Wet n Wild Hello Halo highlighter product. This Guilded Glow shade is lighter than I was expecting it to be because in the bottle it looks like a darker gold color with a slight bronze tint to it, but when this is applied to light skin it looks like a nice light champagne/pearly white gold color. I really like this color on my light skin since it is lighter than I was expecting it to be. I thought this shade might be pushing it for light skin, but it looks good on light skin actually. This highlighter is the first liquid highlighter that I have ever purchased, so I was not sure what to expect, but this highlighter is not messy and does not cause oil to build up on my skin which is good because I have combination skin with some oily areas like around the t-zone area of my face. This highlighter product seems to go into the skin to give a nice lit from within glow, but this is not really a natural looking highlighter product because it gives quite a bit of shine, not a glittery looking shine though. This highlighter seems like it will last all day since it absorbs into the skin. Overall, I really like the formula of this highlighter and for the price of this product, it can't be beat.

Bought this at Walgreens once and never saw it again so I decided to give it a shot here and it was everything i remembered and more!! It really brings in the shine without being overwhelming or cakey at all!! Great for a natural looking makeup or even a full face makeup! No smell, no irritation. Overall great product
