These burp cloths fit the bill. They are double layer (triple in center), soft flannel that gets softer and more absorbent after the first and subsequent washes. They're a nice, large size (as opposed to the narrower version of burp cloths, these are wider). And inexpensive. Lots of cute designs. They do get a bit folded/wrinkled if you just wash and then toss straight into the dryer. But I have found I can sort of finger-press and stretch them flat as I take them out of the washer, then just toss in the dryer, and the edges won't be all folded and wrinkled that way. Don't hesitate, buy a a whole bunch of them and you won't be sorry!

I’m very happy with this purchase and have already ordered an additional set. We recently had our first baby and tried a few different brands of burp cloths. These were by far the best value, providing good functionality and fashion at a reasonable price. The material is soft and washes well, and the muted grey/white/tan/teal designs work perfectly with our soothing, nature-inspired nursery style. (I especially like the feathers!) They are a good size, too, folding up nicely for the diaper bag but being generous enough to protect your shoulder. My only complaint is that the seam down the middle leaves a crease in our daughter’s face if she rests on it too long, but it doesn’t seem to bother her. Definitely recommend. Wish I hadn’t wasted money on more expensive brands.

Best burp cloths. Actually absorbent!!

This is exactly what my baby needed. Great deal & nice pink colors. I've bought this brand in the past & so far it's still holding up good. Soft & absorbs drool well.

These burp cloths look nice when you initially receive them. They are soft and absorbent. They are pretty thick too! The size on the tag says 14 x 20 inches and I verified it using a tape measure. However, once you follow the care instructions (machine wash warm, tumble dry low), they start to fuzz. It's not much, but it will never look as sharp as you first get them from the mail. This isn't an issue for me because I don't really care how it looks as long as it does its job of absorbing liquid. The problem with tumble drying low is that it usually doesn't dry within 1 hour. The cloth is so thick that 1 hour isn't sufficient. Even then, the product shrank a bit. I then tried to dry them using the perm press/medium setting on my dryer. They shrank noticeably, but at least I finally got them to fully dry. The final size of the product as it came out of the dryer was 12.5 x 18.5 inches. I prefer the original size, but it's a small sacrifice I had to make to ensure that these burp cloths dry within a reasonable time frame. All in all, I still recommend this product. It's good quality for the price. Just keep in mind that they do shrink in the dryer. If size is important to you, then you may need to look elsewhere.

I love these burp rags! I received a set of these from my mother at my baby shower. I recently saw them on sale for under 3 bucks! I could not say no to that price. So I ordered 3 more sets for a total of 16 burp rags including the ones gifted to me. They are quite big, but not obnoxiously big. They fit over my shoulder well while burping my baby. They are also really absorbent, trust me I would know since my baby has acid reflux and is a heavy puker! I am a firm believer that you can never have enough burp rags. I personally stock up on them and will continue to do so. I will absolutely be purchasing more of these if I catch them at a great price again, although the normal price is already pretty good! These also make a great gift, as I was very pleased when I received them from my mother. My cousin is currently pregnant with her first baby and I plan to purchase her a couple sets of these for her after she finds out the gender. Overall, these were a great purchase for me. They are not only practical, but super cute too! The best of both worlds if you ask me!!

My husband and I love these burp cloths! I originally bought them because they are double layered for a reasonable price. I didn't expect to love them so much that we bought two more sets! We were confused about the crease sewn into the cloths two thirds of the way across and worried that it would be uncomfortable for our baby, but we soon realized that it was a perfect crease to fold the cloth so that it fits better on your shoulder! The cloths are very absorbent, and we love these for our super reflux-y baby! One thing to note is that the cloth that these burp cloths are made of does vary - some are softer and fleecy whereas others feel like muslin. Either way, they get the job done!

Cotton burp cloths. These are my favorite due to them being all cotton and wider than most other burp cloths out there. Washing machine and dryer safe. Good for long term use. Cute patterns too! Love these!
