Good useable size, twin vents -one of which it packs into. Can be compressed further with a strap around the outside. It says 4 people with rucksacks and 6 without! But I think 6 would be very friendly ! Unless everyone was very small. I keep this in the car so my family have shelter away from the vehicle. It often comes with us on longer walks, as my family is quite young we haven't used it up a mountain yet. Could do with a couple of loops on the outsides to attach walking poles too.

Sturdy product, highly recommended by mountain rescue instructor when I was doing a training. It will keep you warm. Only drawback is that it takes a lot of space in your backpack.

Convenient to unroll and repack and so can be used routinely as an occasional shelter, in addition to its intended function in an emergency.

Tried this out on a rainy windy day in the peak district and it worked well. Kept 2 of us warm and dry with our dog. It was very cramped inside especially with backpacks. Only I vent hole and one window which steamed up quickly. Would be nice to have a window on both sides. We are ordering a 4 person one to fit inside more comfortably.

Ideal for those walking in remote locations who need a little extra piece of mind. We chose this as it is lightweight and after watching Youtube were convinced that carrying this was a good idea. We have been in a situation where one of our party broke an ankle on a walk in the Yorkshire Dales. Help can be a long time coming and shock and the weather can quickly take a dramatic toll on a casualty, I am sure that if we had carried one of these, our casualty would have been a lot safer and more comfortable. This will keep two people safe, warm and very visible if the worst should happen. I would recommend this product.

Sizes are very over exaggerated, 2 man will only just fit one. Other than that the quality is good and easily packed back up. Its not very heavy and dont take up much room. Definitely go bigger if your thinking about getting one.

Good product but it has to be emphasized , this is only a temporary shelter in wild weather and good if you need a break and if you need temporary shelter. If you are going on a major hike and dont have a tent, take this with you

It potentially saved my life while I was out hiking on the Welsh Black Mountains, Was cold and wet and 3/4 of the way to our destination when my friend had to go back and find his jacket with his keys for the van and wheel lock and also his wallet in it, It was getting dark and I was there for 45 minutes waiting for him with the wind howling, this kept me warm and safe, Very grateful I bought it last minute, it was a no brainer, Just Get It!

Lifesystems Survival Shelter 2 345g Sicherheit fürs Überleben. Ein absolut funktionelles und durchdachtes Stück Überlebensausrüstung. Es gibt hier mehr als nur ein Stück verschweißte oder geklebte Rettungsfolie, das Ding ist ein echtes Schutzbiwack zum sitzen (mit Gepäck) zu zweit, oder sitzen/liegen alleine. Es ist blitzschnell aus dem integrierten Sack gezogen, der gleichzeitig mit dem Meschboden als Lüftung des Ganzen dient. Es sind Sitzunterlagen integriert und ein "Fenster" ist auch eingearbeitet. Die orangene Signalfarbe wird durch Reflektorstreifen ergänzt. Das Gewebe (vmtl. Polyester?) ist beschichtet, es ist etwas härter und raschelt. Es ist ein Mehrwegsystem das ich auch nutze wenn mal ein heftiger Gewitter/Regenschauer niedergeht und ich keine Lust oder Zeit auf Regensachen/Hose etc. anziehen habe. Zu guter letzt ist es (bisher...) meist auch noch preiswerter als Shelter so mancher deutschen oder südtiroler Provinienz. Der Sturm spielt auf zum Tanze, er pfeift und saust und brüllt... das kann er tun, ich habe jetzt ein gutes Schutzbiwak to go. Higly recommenden 5 Stars! Und Athena Mellor hat es auch :-))...

Wir sind zu viert,aber auch nicht immer,was dann schlecht ist, weil es zusammen fällt.Die gebückte Haltung nervt über einen längeren Zeitraum.Hält aber warm und schützt.Will man aber draußen etwas kochen und sich innen wärmen und essen,nervt halt auch das komplizierte rein und raus. Zusammenpacken ist auch gar nicht so leicht,weil man muss ziemlich drücken um es wieder zusammen zu bekommen.Ich nehme einen Packsack zum Komprimieren von einen Schlafsack und ziehe den dann zusammen.So erspare ich mir das mühselige zusammen packen. Also in der Not zum Schutz vor Kälte und Wind ist es Gut.Eben ein Notshelter. Im Outdoor geht es, aber ohne Komfort.

なかなかのサイズ感で2人は十分な広さだと思います。 サバイバルシェルターの名の通り、簡易的なツェルトであることは間違いないので、登山でのテント泊で使うようなものではないですが、日帰り登山などで、万が一何らかの遭難にあった時、夜を越すため、寒さをしのぐための簡易ツェルトとしては非常に優秀だと思いました。 このツェルトを上からかぶることで保温性がありますし、収納袋がベンチレーションになっているので中の湿度もある程度逃がします。また、かぶったツェルトの下、お尻側は左右にスカートが内側にあるので、そこに腰掛けることで地面との直接接触を避け、地面からの冷えもある程度は緩和できると思います。登山だけでなく災害全般で使用できるシェルターだと思います。
