What a great way to highlight a painting on a wall
Great accessory to give that special painting a great lighting. Charging is easy. Battery is long lasting. Color temperature adjustment is easy. Ended up buying a second one.

One caveat
Nothing to add to reviews posted. Well designed, functional product that lights art beautifully.I only suggest manufacturer place their label in back of light tube; not at remote control in front. Would make for a more esthetic appearance.One can remove label however label adhesive sticky and difficult to remove.

So many control options!
We had to investment photographs that never really seemed to stand out. Now that they are properly lite, they look outstanding!

You get what you pay for...
The portrait light is attractive, somewhat easy to install and provides a great range of brightness and color of light over small to medium portraits. I installed two - one over a small oil painting, the other over a large silk screen painting. The one over the large painting provides fair amount of light but a larger fixture is needed. With both installations I hit wall studs so the screw mollies were not needed. The screw heads are so soft that they easily strip. I would recommend using good stainless steel screws if you plan to install. The remote for one of the lights works fine, but the other is touchy and it takes several clicks to get a response from the light. Lastly, a fully charged light does not last long - just a few days with it on for a couple of hours. Certainly not possible to turn on and leave it on. To recharge, while it easy to remove, ours require a step ladder to reach them at nearly 9 feet and the charging is very slow requiring hours of remaining plugged in. As stated in the headline...you get what you pay for!

Easy to hang, very nice lighting. Love that you can recharge it rather than using batteries. Good to have a remote .
