Have used stick on felt based products and they generally do not last long and collect dust and hair. These sliders are simple to install and work great. We recently has LVP flooring installed and felt does not slide at all on it. Seriously, it was more difficult to remove the felt product that we had used than to drill the holes and screw the holders in place and insert the caps. The slide well and do not mark the floor. Now just need to get some more to do the dining room chairs. I do not know if they would stay on if just stick on but it is so easy to screw on I would recommend that

Even though the product appears well made it failed to stick to bottom of our kettle and toaster stumps. Maybe able to use on something elses so not a total waste if $.

These are fantastic ! I ordered these for a new coffee table and liked them so much I ended up ordering 2 more packets for all my chairs and side tables. I previously had ones that were mental with like a felt material topper on my chair legs, but they had a habit of holding dirt and then smearing it across the floor after mopping or whatever, these ones being completely plastic will not retain dirt and are much easier to clean and keep the floor cleaner. To my surprise and delight they also slide allong the flooring better than the ones I had with felt topper on them. I cannot speak for longevity but they feel like they will last a long time and I love the fact that they can be both screwed in and stuck on. Would 100% reccomend.

They work as advertised and easy to assemble.

Used on my new KitchenAid stand mixer, it weighs about 30# and is hard to move with rubber feet. These sliders stuck right on the feet and makes it easy to move the mixer for use and cleaning. Highly recommended.
