The product works Well! It fits my April Air Dehumidifier and is half the price of the similar product that my Air Conditioning Company charges for the exact filter. Barney

Easy to install and works great
The media could not be loaded. Product works well. I replace mine 1-2 times a year and def helps keep dust out of the system. Combine it with the filters in both returns and then the air scrubber in the back of my system I feel well protected from airborne nasties lol. The video is of the filter I took out before putting this one in. I’ll be honest I should have replaced months ago.

Works very well, lasts shorter than described
I was hoping this would last me 12 months but that turned out to be optimistic. By month 5, I could hear a humming sound in my walls, the most annoying being the wall next to the head of the bed. Took me a while to figure out it was my brand-new HVAC system vibrating. The cause? A dirty AprilAire filter making the system work hard to push air through it. I took the filter out, looking fuzzy and grey, and replaced it with a brand new one and the hum went away.My HVAC maintenance guy just replaced my filter that was just under 4 months old because he said it looked like it needed a change. After a year, I think I now know I need to change this filter about every 4 months (3 times a year). Not quite the cost savings I was hoping for but it's doing its job. Small house, 3 people, 2 pets=dust and hair.I recommend this filter but don't expect it to give you 12 months, or even 6. And I vacuum often and run a portable air filter inside the house.

Excellent Filtration
This is the best furnace/ AC filter I have ever used. It's not the easiest filter to install, it takes a little practice as it must slide into the top and bottom rails before it can be pushed in all the way. I found if you install it on the bottom rail first, it goes into the top rail much easier. I decided to start using this filter after I had a new furnace and central A/C installed. This new furnace allows air to be circulated throughout the house constantly resulting in a cleaner air environment.

I'm not really sure if they are better, but they're expensive
It is unfortunate that these are the type of filters that I have to use for my house because they are quite expensive compared to other filters/furnace systems. But aside from that, it is easy to install, and I guess does capture dirt very well, it's just quite expensive. My suggestion: if you see a reduced price, make sure to stock up that will last you a couple of years.
