Bought it before going on safari trip. the tie helped keep the hat on my head when others hats were flying off due to the wind. Material is light-weight and can be crumpled without losing shape. I washed it in washing machine and there was no damage to the hat. Would recommend..

Made with extreamly thin and cheap cloth and does't look good. Not even work for protection from sunlight. Useless product.
