Previously gave up on full-sized acoustic due to being too big for me. Love the thinness/small back on this. How does it sound with that back, though?

I used to play only electric guitar. When I decided to try acoustic, I sampled different styles. I tried a Martin. Of course great sound, but big and hard to play. Costly too. I am not good enough to spend $1,000's on a guitar. I had tried an Ovation, and loved the feel of it. Very comfortable. Amazed by the sound too. Not a Martin, but really good. And affordable. So I opted for it. I plugged it into my amp and was amazed how it sounded compared to my friends' acoustic electric guitars that they paid big bucks for. So for me, Ovation was a great choice. BTW, Glen Campbell used to play one too. Not too shabby.

Any idea where I can get a replacement tuner peg? Don’t need to fully replace one, just the twisting knob...

Sorry, I haven't had this problem so I really don't know. A local guitar/music store possibly, or check the Ovation website directly. Good luck. Even out of tune it's a great guitar. :)

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think this has a truss rod, does anybody care about that?

Mine has a truss rod. It came with the adjusting wrench for the truss rod. Would have a guitar tech do any adjusting however. Good luck!

Price, Quality, and Sound this one has it all

2nd Ovation Celebrity I’ve owned in the last 10 years handed my old one down. My opinion is that this is the cheapest Acoustic/Electric you can get while still getting a great instrument, perfect balance between price, quality, and sound. I can literally think of nothing bad Amazon fam if your on the fence just jump you won’t regret!!

Beautiful Guitar. I always wanted an Ovation since the first time I played one while serving in the US Navy in 1985. You cannot go wrong with this beautiful guitar; sounds and looks awesome, built in tuner and can plug in also. 5 stars

I love this guitar

I love this guitar. I was using an ovation from the 1980s before, but I chose this new one as a birthday present. The tone is great. The fretboard is pretty narrow, which is nice if you have smaller hands. There's also the built in tuner, which is a great feature.

I want to like it

If you have 500 bucks to spend this is not the guitar to spend it on. It feels like a 200 dollar guitar at best. The action is way too high. And they are laughing on my refund
