Easy to change, works great!

I went to 2 of these in one day, the one was used 3 times before then it started to shock me really badly if I put my hand in the cooler. So I replaced it and the shocking stopped then 4 hours later the brand new pump fresh out of the packaging dies. Would not recommend.

Couldn't be easier to install. Twist out the old one and twist the new in. Make your 2 wire connections and boom. This one motor works to keep both my fore and aft livewells full of fresh water.

They are not that long lived, and if you get a whole season out of it you're lucky. Pays to have a spare handy, and that's why I ordered it.

Replacement was a snap, less than five minutes and add on another ten or so for wire splicing. Works great. Was going to get a spare but since shipping was so quick I'll just wait till I need one. Since the original was was about seven years old don't think I'll need a new one too soon.

We use these 500 GPH pumps in our twin bait wells and always have a couple spare ones on hand (the threadfins eventually eat the pumps up with all those loose scales). Easy change outs - even in rough water. A couple of crimp connectors and a twist of the motor and you're back in business before the bait even knows the pump stopped working.

This was an easy replacement for a noisy bilge pump. Arrived quickly in clam pack in a big box. I ordered and received the motor to place in an existing mount. Easy drop in and splice.
