Cheap alternative
I recently purchased the Gexmil CNC PVS15/18 Night Vision Goggles Mount for my L4G24 NVG Metal Helmet Mount, and overall, I am quite satisfied with its performance. This mount offers a reliable and secure attachment for my night vision goggles, enhancing my nighttime visibility during various activities.Firstly, the build quality of the Gexmil CNC PVS15/18 Mount is impressive. The CNC-machined metal construction provides a sturdy and durable design, ensuring that the mount can withstand rugged use and outdoor conditions. I appreciate the attention to detail and precision in its construction. The installation process was relatively straightforward. The mount securely attaches to my L4G24 NVG Metal Helmet Mount, and the adjustment knobs allow for easy fine-tuning to achieve the desired position and angle for my night vision goggles. Once properly mounted, the goggles feel secure and stable, even during intense movements. One notable feature of this mount is its compatibility with both PVS15 and PVS18 night vision goggles. This versatility is a significant advantage, as it allows me to switch between different goggles without the need for separate mounts. The ability to accommodate multiple models is a valuable aspect of this product. While the Gexmil CNC PVS15/18 Mount performs well overall, I have encountered a minor issue. The adjustment knobs, although functional, could benefit from a more refined and smoother operation. At times, they feel slightly stiff, requiring a bit of extra effort to make adjustments. However, this does not significantly impact the overall usability or performance of the mount. In terms of comfort, the mount does a decent job of distributing the weight of the night vision goggles evenly across the helmet. This helps alleviate strain on the head and neck during extended use. The padding on the contact points adds a level of cushioning, ensuring a comfortable fit on the helmet.Overall, the Gexmil CNC PVS15/18 Night Vision Goggles Mount is a reliable and sturdy accessory for attaching night vision goggles to an L4G24 NVG Metal Helmet Mount. It offers excellent compatibility with multiple goggle models and provides a secure and stable platform. While there is room for improvement in the adjustment knobs' smoothness, this does not significantly impact the mount's overall functionality. If you're in need of a dependable mount for your night vision goggles, the Gexmil CNC PVS15/18 Mount is definitely worth considering. It provides a solid attachment option and enhances your nighttime visibility during various activities. With a few refinements, this mount has the potential to become an outstanding choice for night vision enthusiasts.

Good
Currently using it in ukraine. Has pvs14 mounted on it. And it works fine. Better than the rhino mount my pvs came with. One screw stripped the first time I removed it so I could loctite it. Other than that no issue.

I just received the mount
So far I like it. I removed all the hardware and used loctite where I can. Used a little oil on some of the surfaces. It glides nice now. Nerd projects are never truely finished....... And yes I'm a vet. I spend money things I shouldn't. Like digital night vision. Don't judge me 😂

Works great for the thermal and night vision

Works great
Nice quality for the price if you don't want to spend $ on legit mounts. Works great for general non-professional use. Sturdy enough to hang $3000+ NVD without much of a worry. I use retention bungees just in case something happens but so far so good.

Close enough
The functions for the drop down and dovetail lock are pretty gritty, which I haven’t found a solution for yet. Replaced the lock screws for the flipping mechanism with nylon tipped ones. Dovetail lock up is a little sloppy which I’ve heard is common on the real thing; mitigated by retention. Lockup to helmet is nice and tight.

This is the cheaper option you were looking for! 1/5 the price!
I was skeptical but decided to try it out for a real PVS-14. Unit is sturdy, not quite to the quality of a real WILCOX but close enough. I'd trust my PVS-14 in the field with this mount.I've experienced the same issues as other reviews with a stiff release button and had to dismantle it to loctite all the screws. Not a deal breaker. If in doubt, buy it.. this is the cheaper option you're looking for.P.S. not sure how they got away with printing WILCOX's branding on the unit, but its labeled WILCOX. It's not a WILCOX but close enough for 1/5th the price.

Buy it! *EDITED AND UPDATED*
So this thing holds up like 95% as well as a real Wilcox G24. It just has the SLIGHTEST wobble when fully extended, but the helmet retention cords attached to a helmet take up any slack. In fact I’ve seen real Wilcox G24s with the same amount of wobble in the field. Also, for comparison to my Norotos Rhino mount for those sporting the old school PVS-14 setup, this clone has actually has less play than my real deal surplus setup.Save a few hundred bucks and buy this! I’d trust $10k nods with this no problem (remember you should always tie down your nods no matter what mounting setup you have. Things fail in the real world despite being a Gucci brand or not)**UPDATE**Soo I still absolutely recommend this over a legit Wilcox to save yourself a bunch of money, but you will absolutely NEED to add thread-locker to every screw, including the indent screw that goes in the barrel to limit the distance of travel when you raise and lower the arm (I added JB weld putty to the exposed threads when you look into the barrel). This is definitely where a corner was cut in production, but it's an easy fix. Now this thing really is as rock solid as a legit G24.
