Denby USA Natural Canvas Set of 4 Nesting Bowls

Awesome dishes. Elegant yet earthy. They can do everything...dishwasher safe, oven safe, freezer safe and microwave safe. Their pottery comes in all colors and sizes. I chose a couple different colors for my everyday dishes and the natural canvas is just so elegant. Super high gloss, they don't scratch and basically all of their colors and patterns go well together. It's fun to mix it up a bit and Denby will notify you if they are going to stop making a certain pattern so you can buy a few extra pieces. It's nearly impossible to find dishes that are NOT made in China. Read up on Denby history (their site) and you'll be proud that you are a Denby owner. The dishes could also be your formal dishes as it's all in the way you decorate your table. When you touch and hold them you will feel the quality . This is a small dish...good for putting cherries or blueberries....cream and sugar bowl or a small charcuterie arrangement as well as serving cookies, brownies or lemon bars. I also bought the large tray and that looks great with flatbreads, etc. You'll want them both when you see them in your home!

My only criticism of this French press is that the contact between the wall of the press and the mesh filter is not complete and thus I have experienced a small amount of grounds getting into my finished cup of coffee. That said, it really is a nominal amount of grounds and this is not a deal breaker for me. Otherwise this press seems to be well made. Press is nice looking and I like that it has no plastic parts. IMO it keeps your coffee hot longer than a glass carafe French press. Overall, I am very pleased. Amazon packed this press very well in several layers of bubble wrap.

I have owned several different dish sets over the years and the Denby set I purchased over ten years ago is by far the best set I have ever owned. My kids use them everyday and still no chips or broken dishes. My only complaint is that the set I originally purchased is discontinued so I can't buy additional pieces that match the MERLOT. However, when I stumbled upon this large Denby soup bowl in Canvas, I knew I had to have it! The color is neutral enough to work with my existing set and the size is perfect for Pho.

I was dubious when I opened the box and found that the lid has no gasket and does not fit on the pitcher tightly. But this beautiful French press works just fine. I can make 2.5 big mugs of coffee at a time with it. It is very solid. I like the design so much that I bought the dishes to match.Preheat the pitcher with hot water from the tap. I bought a new electric kettle that heats to 200 degrees. Add the hot water to coarse ground beans and let is sit for 5 to 6 minutes. Push the plunger slowly. Makes lovely tasty coffee that is not bitter.

Most of my mugs are Denby. I love the size, and how it feels I’m my hand to hold the mug. It’s a comfortable hold. I especially love my creamy off white mug.

A beautiful dish. I wish I'd bought two as the price has increased. I leave it on my counter and it finds itself hold odd lots like a group of k-cups or those little boxes of yogurt covered raisins. It's so elegantly done and totally impressed me as my first introduction to Denby.

Love Denby. I collect the blue imperial, but also have a few of these pieces; mugs are lovely

The Natural Canvas pattern is the second Denby set I have had and I love it as much as the first. These small bowls are the perfect size for a serving of yogurt or cottage cheese, spooning a condiment ( extra pasta sauce, herbed sour cream, etc.) at the dinner table, or a dessert (ice cream, strawberries with cream, etc). I have ordered these twice (two sets of four) and both times the delivery was prompt and the items were well packaged- nothing broken. The bowls will hold 1 cup of food/liquid comfortably.

Beautifully elegant and understated, this is my new favourite mug. I have many, and tend to buy them in singles as I strive for perfection. This feels pretty close. It's a good size for a thirsty tea drinker and the handle loop is generous and comfortable.This mug sits surprisingly well regardless of environment. Poorly designed objects only look okay in particular places and eras, but the thing about really good design is that intangible quality that makes it timeless, and allows it to inhabit its own space. With its clean lines and calm, neutral grey exterior, the mug certainly looks good in my Georgian house, as it does in the rustic shaker themed product shots above. It would be equally at home in a city loft apartment or highland bothy.The high production standards and hand finishing are a definite draw, and supporting British craftsmanship is important. I would much rather pay a little more up front for an object with soul than anonymous imported disposable dross. And I expect my Denby mug to outlast me, so in the long term I'm saving money.One of the pleasures in life is interacting with beautiful objects. They don't have to be expensive or rare, just soulful and well made. This mug is one of them. I commend it to you.

The glass was thinner than those I’d bought when this range came out.One of these lasted a week, sorry to say that.In time or if you never had the earlier release you’d not notice of course.Will end up buying more as we lose others but fair to say the glass was thinner

Ordered this lovely bowl and received 2 random (‘halo’) cups and saucers which I don’t need. In order to return I need to find a printer, re-package and traipse to post office at Christmas time which feels like more hassle than it’s worth! Not the service I expect from a Denby.

Hello bought the bowl to make porridge in the microwave,as my normal bowls were too shallow splattered porridge all over the place.this bowl did the trick,now more cleaning the microwave every morning! would recommend this bowl wholeheartedly. GA.
