Good but not great. Temp reduced by 8 degrees. Without this, Crucial p3 was 72 degrees under full gaming load. Now it is 64 degrees under full gaming load. Don't use rubber band that comes with this. It will melt or break after few days. Use plastic zip ties. See the image. On my Crucial p3 NVMe, one chip is taller and other is short. So there will be a gap. To fill up that, cut a small piece of thermal pad as same size of that tall chip. Make sure that heatsink should not touch the nvme directly. You can put thermal pad on thermal pad to fill up the gap between the tall and short chips. Now, games are loading very fast than before.

I purchased a WD SN770 1TB SSD a few days back for my Dell G5 5505 SE laptop. However I found out that the drive 2 temps (as reported by HWinfo) of the SSD was well over 90°C during gaming and above 70°C in idle. The drive 1 & 2 temps, though, were within tolerable limits. However any part of the drive getting above 90°C was concerning. I also did not want to spend too much on an SSD heatsink and this was one of the cheapest options available. I purchased this (the 3mm height version) without too much expectation honestly. However to my pleasant surprise, after installing this heatsink the drive 2 temps reduced to a maximum of 73°C while gaming and below 60°C on idle. I would definitely recommend this product, specially to those who wishes to purchase this for laptop.

The thickness shown in the picture is different than what I got. Other dimensions are correct and it does the job so I am gonna keep it.

I avoided getting heatsink for Gen3(no dram) SSD for my gaming PC because toms hardware and reddit told me it won't make difference. They couldn't be more wrong....During storage intensive gaming while streaming temperature used to be around 70, but now around 50. That's a massive reduction. Cyberpunk(4K res) loading map while driving near 200mph for long time with modded car became very stable. Forza Horizon 5(4K res) with ultra textures now possible and no longer showing streaming error. I have used scissor to cut the thermal pads into square pieces and placed them on nand and controller so they avoid transferring heat between each other. Reduced 1 star because seller didn't provide screw.

It is a heatsink for nvmes and is working and was really needed hence met the requirement.Working....👍

Wrong color sent silver color recived which looked a bit cheaper and rubber bands will surely melt in few months it is not that great

Totally worth it! The product is as described. Extremely light weight and the heat pad has proper plastic peel off cover on both sides. Then the aluminium heat plates are around 2mm tall which perfectly fits inside a dell precision laptop. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. Go for it. If the metal heat plate doesn't fit it any slim laptop chassis then simply use the gel heat pad only. It sticks quite well on the Nvme 2280 SSD. Temperature remain around 40 degrees Celcius even after peak mix stress test! Thats awesome!!
