Out of the package, I had difficulty figuring out how to change the needle in the wood handle. The instructions do not give enough information for that. When I figure out that I needed pliers to begin the removal of the tightener for the needle, I could not figure out how to change the needle until I took everything apart and noticed how the needle pieces were changed. (No explanation in instructions). My attempt at threading was frustrating because the needle threader did not go all the way up the wooden handle...it catches on something inside. The yarn I used did not hold in the sample fabric...I don't know what to do now. I will watch you tube again.

Sometime the needle falls out the wooden piece, which could be very annoying. Even when I screw it tight, it still falls out. Other than that very good kit.

Really like this kit! Got for my mom and I stilled one for her!!! Super organized

The fabric I got ended up being awful! I tried to use it with the punch needle but both types of fabric just shredded. I had to file down the wood on the punch needle so my yarn wouldn't get stuck. Everything else is very good just have to buy more fabric.
