Perfectly embodies tomte/nisse folklore
His cap and mittens are soft grey plush and he has a red felt body with grey felt slippers. His beard is very soft and he has a pert little nose poking out from under his bendable cap. His filling includes sand at the bottom which allows him to sit steadily upright. His little tag says "gnome, bearded men who guard homes, farms and children, particularly at night, protecting them from misfortune." He is a perfect tomte/nisse for my family of mixed Swedish/Norwegian heritage.

Classy
I love the classic and clean line of the gnome. I don't like the ones with the hands and feet, I think it makes them look cheaper those might be good for kids. It's super soft and a good size and I love the little heart on the Hat. Also because I got the white I can keep it out until March.

Adorable!
I just received this one today and think he’s going to be my favorite. His hat is velvety soft and matching cuffs are adorable. His beard has a splash of gray and under his beard he has a tiny pocket that is big enough to hold a ring to gift...how perfect! The little heart on his hat adds a sweet touch. I think I need to buy another one....

Absolutely Adorable Owl
The owl is so darn cute! Looks much better in person. The hat stays completely upright, the owl's body is about 5" in diameter with a hollow thick plastic center and springs which move sort of like a bobblehead. Heavy duty metal is used for the feet. It doesn't measure 15" as listed, closer to about 13", but don't let that stop you from buying this adorable owl.

I love him I am Norwegian My paternal grandmother had tomte through out her home They ward off negativity But got me They also remind me of trolls I collected many years ago And oh these are well made and lovely

Super Cute Gnome for St. Patty's Day – But...
This little guy is so cute and incredibly well made.My only two complaints are:1. The gnome is 12" from his bottom or base to the very top of the hat, that said, he is very small. I guess I was expecting him to be a little larger and the measurements to be for the gnome itself not the gnome with the hat, as the hat is almost half his size.2. The little gold heart looks like a cheap sticker that can easily be pulled off.All that said, I still think he is adorable and with the exception of the gold heart, very well made!
