If we’re being honest, It’s a really cool invention. If you use all the parts - it does stop the cup from leaking. I took of the middle circle cap cover due to the weird suction thing that was happening. Despite not having a cover on the straw or the middle circle suction inside the cup (the one that looks like a bowl/cup) - it still only leaks out the straw.I did have slight difficulty getting the suction that covers where the straw goes but I usually always do lol.I would buy, especially for the price!!

Firstly, the package came without any instructions. Not a huge deal, but I could see many people installing incorrectly without more guidance. I’m still not sure if I have it right but it’s not leaking so I guess that’s something. Definitely has stopped it from leaking. I can turn it completely upside down with not even a drip.However the biggest downside I’ve had so far is that with such a tight seal, you can’t get as much suction through the straw. A straw works because of the pressure differential, and with the tight seal, it makes it difficult to move liquid up the straw. I guess the price you pay for a leak proof straw.

I couldn’t wait to put it all on and give it a test. Sure enough, it worked great. No leaks. However, when I tried to drink out of it, I could hardly get anything out. The cup looking piece that goes on the inside center of the lid, has too much suction and purges itself off. Without this piece on, it leaks. This piece sits at the bottom of my cup the majority of the time because you can’t keep it on and suck out of the straw at the same time. It’s almost a really good invention, it just needs a way to let air out to prevent this from happening. Even with the other two pieces, it still leaks less than it did before. So for $3.99 plus tax, I guess it’s still worth it but it shouldn’t be advertised at 100% leak free—not if you still intend to actually drink out of it.

I had purchased this a couple of times before and keep a set and gave a set away, recently I was cleaning one of the pieces and didn’t notice it fell on the floor and one of our dogs chewed it , ordered another set, but apparently it was a different manufacturer when I went to put the centerpiece on and drink out of my container. I almost sucked my cheeks right out of my mouth, so I look to see where I ordered this product before and ordered it it came and it’s perfect. Don’t buy the other one this brand works.
