A delightful book full of charm, intrigue, and fascinating history!

For those familiar with Cape May, this book focuses on a house on Washington Street that has a very long storied history. Woven into the narrative by a recent resident of the house is a history of the city itself. Being from the Midwest, I had not heard of some of the events of WWI and WWII that happened on the East Coast such as the munitions plant explosion in Jersey City nor the numerous ship incidents in the Atlantic Ocean just offshore from Cape May. Loved the history in this book!

I bought this book for a gift and was very disappointed in the condition. Cover was bent at corners and the first half of the pages were cut shorter at the bottom than the back pages. Never saw such bad craftsmanship!
