Stops slugs
This is an excellent product , I mainly bought it to stop the slugs eating my plants they hate having to go over it as its dry and gritty. Seems to be working. It's also great to help with drainage mixed with compost in my hanging baskets as its very light. Would recommend

Discuss with result
Disappointed with the result or should I say lack of result. After reading all the hype about vinegars I thought I'd try it out . Followed instructions but the result is poor.

WASHING GRIT TOOK TIME!
This grit was recommended for use on top of my houseplants that were plagued with tiny black, super annoying flies! This grit needs a good wash before use as it is covered in a dirty black/red dust...I put it into an old washing up bowl with warm water & small amount of washing up liquid & moved it around to loosen the dust. I then scooped small amounts into an old wire food sieve & ran it under the tap until the water ran clear (5 litre bag took a while to do)! This grit then needs drying...I spread it out onto a large plastic sheet with kitchen roll to soak some of the water & left it overnight to dry.Not sure if this will help, but the pots look nice.
