Removes hair quickly and easily
The Hair Off Face Buffer was a good price, and I figured I would give it a try knowing it was low cost. I didn't want an unpleasant cream of removal gel. Honestly they all smell terrible and very few work. Like many women I have a light coat of hair above my lip that is never noticed by anyone but myself. I also have two hairs under my chin that grow in now and again. I hate those because they are noticed by others. The Hair Off Face Buffer arrived fast and was packaged perfectly. I used it right away. First, the buffer top is easy to hold and shaped perfectly for ease of use. The buffer pad is smoother than I ever thought it would be. Honestly I was not sure it would work at all. To my surprise, it did work. It worked to remove both the upper lip hair and the two stubborn hairs beneath my chin. The hair stayed away for over a week. All I have to do now is use it once per week for just a few minutes and I am hair free. I also love that it leaves my skin feeling so smooth. I have never experienced any irritation from use. I do highly recommend giving the Hair Off Face Buffer a try.

Works
I had been shaving for some time and developed bumps and dark spots on my face. Just tried this wearing a white t-shirt and the shirt was covered in little hairs. I find it best to pull the skin taut or tight, blow air in cheeks like a balloon or tilt head back to stretch the neck skin. It does leave the skin a little red and irritated but no more so than after laser hair removal or electrolysis, without the high price. I follow the treatment with coconut oil to soothe and heal. I will continue to use this.

ALLERGIC TO LATEX? BE WARNED...
I've used this product for over ten years and have always loved it. I found it very effective as long as I was careful not to rub with it too vigorously. If you overdo with this it can rub a nasty burn especially on the skin at your lip line. I ordered a new set of these the other day and when it arrived I used it as usual and everything seemed pretty typical. An hour later though my upper lip line exploded into a full-on latex allergy reaction. Within an hour my lower lip line had gotten into the act, so by the end of the afternoon I looked like I had two fat lips! If you've ever experienced a latex allergy, you know that it doesn't go away quickly - the resulting dermatitis can last a week or more. I haven't experienced a reaction this bad in over a decade, not since my dentist accidentally wore latex gloves while working on me. I did notice when I took them out of the package that the buffer sheets looked different than in the past - they are a slightly different color and have a flower design printed on them. They feel slightly different too (I have an old one that I compared it to.) I guess they've changed the formula for the buffer sheets and now they include latex. PS - Writing reviews has become an accidental hobby for me, and it always makes my day to know that people find my reviews helpful (and if not, why.) Also, if you have any questions, clarifications, or comments please feel free to leave a comment below. I usually respond pretty quickly and almost always within 24 hours.

Yes it works, but it has its downsides. Still worth it IMO.
So, its not quite perfect. After doing it, and continuously for a good 5-10 minutes, the hair definitely came off my upper lip. There was a lot of irritation however. For a good 2-3 days. A couple "zit" like bumps too. But, now that the irritation is over, its smooth and quite nice. For how cheap it is, its a good deal. The drawbacks are the itchiness and irritation for 3 days, but its worth it in the end.

Works on some types of hairs, but not on others
I've been looking for alternatives to shaving, and this product... sort of works. I found it worked on some of the finer hairs around my jawline, but it didn't do much for the thicker, coarser, more annoying hairs that I get (which are the ones I'm more concerned about from a hair-removal standpoint). So for people who don't have a lot of coarse hair they're looking to remove, this could be a useful product - but as for me, I won't be buying this type of hair removal product again any time soon.

It's a no go for me
I was very excited to try this. Sadly it did nothing for me. I felt it rubbing on my skin. It was even a bit red. But not one single hair came off. I even tried it right after a shower in the hopes that that would help but it didn't. So that was a waste of money. Hopefully i can give it to someone else and it'll work for them.

I was looking for something to gently reduce the fine 'peach fuzz' hairs on my face, feeling that shaving or depilating were too vigorous. The Facial Buffer has had absolutely no effect whatever. I knew it wouldn't work on the stronger bristly chin and moustache hairs, but I did think it would help with the light growth on my cheeks. I certainly wouldn't recommend this product.
