Teton Sports Celsius XL -32C/-25F Sleeping Bag; Free Compression Sack Included

Purchased for my sister. She was very pleased with the quality and warmth of this bag.

I prefer sleeping bags to sheets and blankets as they are warmer, for quality item like this, and easy to clean as one item. Why compromise on sleeping items as you spend a good deal of time asleep so get a quality bag. This sleepng bag is well made, WARM, and comfortable... the inner lining is soft to skin. At the moment shipping costs are also deducted from USA! Very pleased with purchase after much searching.

I got the -25⁰ rated sleeping bag. It is very thick and feels like a quality bag. The zipper worked fine, and it is very roomy. The interior fabric is very soft & comfortable. It is a heavy bag weight wise, but that is expected for a bit less expensive sleeping for such a cold rating. It isn't very good for warmer temperatures above freezing, as you will sleep too hot & sweat in it. The materials & quality of assembly of the two I purchased is really good. The stuff bags they are in work great. Though a little tough to get the bags stuffed into, it takes a bit of arm strength. I am very happy with them both, and they work great for what I need them for. I think they are worth the price & the quality is good. They might mot be so good for someone wanting to take them hiking long distances, as the -25⁰ bag weighs about 10lbs and it is pretty bulky even in the stuff carrying bag. If you are looking for a hiking sleeping bag, you might want to pay more for a lighter bag that compresses down more than this. But overall, a bag rated for such low temps, and NOT having any down feathers in it, the weight & bulkyness isn't bad at all. It is well worth the money in my opinion.

As expected, this is a very warm bag. The reviews also indicate that it is bulky & large. Since we carry our gear by pickup and not backpack, I figured the size would be manageable. Having used the bag, I can confirm that the size is manageable but it is inconveniently large. The lofty insulation makes it very poofy, so once it's out of it's stuff sack it takes a lot of space. In my case, I use a 4x4 mesh bag to hold my 10-person tent (including rain fly & tarp)and the large tent mostly fills the bag when stored. This sleeping bag fills the same bag to it's swollen limits. Fortunately, with reasonable effort the bag will fit into the stuff sack. The stuff sack is still large for a sleeping bag (by like 20%) but I think that is made clear in the other reviews. The bag is shorter than I would like. At 90" length I thought sure it would be adequate (I'm 6'2" 240# male)but the 90" must include the hood I guess because my feet went all the way to the bottom. The width is comfortable but I thought this XL bag would be spacious. It's very warm. My other bag doesn't have a temp rating that I could find (it's an old oversized Coleman), but it's kept me comfortable down to 20 degrees, and I use it in summertime weather as well. This Teton bag was uncomfortably warm in 50 degree weather. I left the zipper open down to my knees; but because it's not really wide it felt chilly along the open seam, and the rest of my body was clammy from sweat. So if you're like me, and thinking there's no harm in getting a super-warm bag because you can just leave it unzipped, this one doesn't work that way. With that said, if you find yourself camping on a glacier or something, I think this bag would have a lot of appeal. The bag is very comfortable, in part because of the flannel lining (can't beat flannel for comfort) but it's so lofty that it adds some padding as well. The zipper is good. Not world class, but good. With minimal effort you can zip/unzip without it jamming on bits of material (this is usually the problem I see with zippers). However when I tried to zip it while I was in it, from the knees up, it took quite a few tries because the two sides weren't entirely lined up and it just wouldn't zip unless I pinched the two sides more or less together first, all the way up (in the dark, when confined in a slightly narrow bag). For similar price, I bought a Kelty Mistral 0-degree bag at the same time, which has a fantastic zipper, it highlighted the difference in zippers for me.

暖房器具を一切使わず5℃くらいの環境下でテント内で寝ました。当たり前ですが全く寒くありません。化繊の量が多いので背中の寝心地も良かったです。-25℃の性能がどこまで通用するか今後試していきたいと思います。本体は封筒型なので寝袋内のスペースはたっぷりあります。地味にありがたかったのは首元の端にスマホを入れられるポケットがついていたことです。チャック自体はスムーズに動くのですがたまに中の生地を噛んでしまって夜中トイレで起きた時に手こずりました。収納は縦に二つ折りにして足元から空気を抜くように畳むのですが、こればっかりは大きいので体力がいります。袋に入れてからは縦に小さくしていきますが円の直径は小さくならないので車のトランクスペースはかなり場所を取ります。いっそ袋にいれずに寝袋を横に二つ折りにして圧縮袋に入れて空気を抜いた方が嵩張らないかもしれません。色々と検討して値段も考えつつベストな選択だったと思います。
