Deluxe Dog Mount (Large) for GoPro/Xiaomi/SJCAM Action Cameras

Looked okay when it arrived this afternoon, label was snagged and pulled, that’s no biggie, can be cut off. Sized it to the dog, decent fit! I’m Fairly happy so far, then... attached GoPro and away we went. Walked about 100 feet, so far so good, let to dog run, not fine. GoPro comes flying off over the dogs head, he sees it and thinks I’ve thrown a toy for him and proceeds to chase and Try to eat my GoPro luckily it was in a good quality case. Thinking id maybe attached it wrong I inspected the fitting bracket, only to find it’s completely snapped and is not completely unusable. It literally lasted less than 2 minutes and all the dog did was run. Nearly cost me a GoPro in the process. It’s just not very good!

Ok so this arrived and looked the part, easy to fit in my dog and he looked comfortable in it first five minutes of walk we arrive at car park. Had to put him on a lead for first 100 yards to make sure we reached the beach safe. D ring comes off tab and all. Not at all stitched well….. not good on a larger dog. Ok I try to overlook this and hope to get good footage from my new GoPro. Off we set and I watch the harness going off to the side had to keep retightening everything still hoping for the best. Get home and the mount part of harness is down on to loose so camera appears to flip about footage near unusable. Avoid where possible do not buy. Not fit for purpose

We bought this for our girl, first venture out in the park she disappeared in a bush and when she come out we see it had snapped. Now we have no harness mount and no go pro! Emailed company but got no reply 😡

The plastic on the joint where the camera clips to the harness is too brittle, it broke the first time it was used. Luckily i tried it out on my dog in the garden before going out in the fields or i could easily have lost the action camera. The harness itself was a good fit for the dog and he seemed not to mind it. Cant give anymore than 1 star though as it was not of sufficient quality to perform the task.

This is a great harness. The front strap has been updated to replace velcro fastening with a clip fastening in line with other harnesses. It still has the velco patches so you can attach your own training/friendly/dangerous patches ect. The lead d link is strong and will not have any trouble holding quite a bit of pressure. Great buy and will use it daily even without the camera - the mount for us is an added bonus

The product is different from the photos, the chest strap is fixed with a buckle not with velcro straps. However, this is an improvement, as now it won't come off the dog when using the ring at the back for the leash. The ring is very firmly attached too. This feature is a great because the leash doesn't catch the camera if you use the ring, especially if you have a dog that walks ahead or pulls. The straps on the harness arn't elastic either, which means it doesn't bounce or slip sideways when the dog runs.

If you are planning to use other than to hold a camera I wouldn’t, I bought because I want to use the lead hook aswell as dog filming and as soon as he pulled it snapped off! We have a spaniel and it wasn’t up to standard at all!!!
