Seems well made and is so soft and cute. Mom has dementia and terrible, nervous energy. She took to this pup immediately and has played with it non-stop today, since it was delivered. The designers knew exactly what they were doing.She immediately started exploring each attached item. Tied it, unbuckled and re-buckled, ran the rope through holes, hugged the puppy, etc. I can't explain it, but I was shocked how well it held her attention. I hope she doesn't tear it to pieces 😢 but it's well worth the money.

I like most of the fidget features, however the zipper panel is only sewn on one side so you have to hold it with one hand then operate the zipper with the other hand. This is pretty challenging for advanced dementia patients. Also, the zipper pocket is only about 3/4 inch wide so not big enough to store anything.

I purchased this for my mother-in-law with dementia, she always needed to fuss with something, and seem to have more difficulties after their dog passed away last year. We were starting to look for a Memory Care placement for her and I was hoping this would help ease the transition. This stuffed dog had a similar appearance to theirs and I thought that it might help.Unfortunately, before it arrived my mother-in-law fell and ended up in the hospital and passed away after a week. When it arrived, I decided to take it up to her anyways, she did hug it and it seemed to comfort her. She became comatose after a couple days and did not use the fidget accessories so we took off the vest that they were attached to and placed the dog in her arms. She enjoyed it while she could and I think it would be of benefit to someone with dementia as a calming tool.

2023 was a terrible year, mostly because of my mom's quickly-declining health. Her Alzheimer's has reached it's late stage, and her dementia is terrible. But she's still my mom, and I wanted to get her a nice gift for Christmas. And this was it. From the moment she opened this up, it has been on her lap, keeping her hands warm, and giving her fingers something to play with--if you know Alz, you know that in the later stages, sense of touch is one of the most important things connecting a person with the world. She is constantly fiddling with the little hoops, the ribbons, and the other accoutrements included on this cute and soft puppy. And again, it works as a muff so her hands are always warm. It is also super sturdy and assembled beautifully. Everything is attached securely.I don't know who designed this, but I would like to give them a hug, to thank them for creating this product. Whoever they are, they must have had a loved one going through this terrible disease. This is a blessing. Thank you.

This is great for someone that has dementia. It’s really made a world of difference from my mom. It gives her something to do something to Love and keep her company. Money well spent

Der "Hund" war ein Geschenk für meinen fortgeschritten demeten Onkel zum 90. Geburtstag. Ich bin fest davon überzeugt, dass er sich riesig gefreut hat. Über den weichen Stoff, das niedliche Gesicht und seine nun warmen Hände. Er hat ihn nicht mehr aus den Händen gegeben. Leider kann er seine Finger nicht mehr so bewegen, daher kann er die Funktionen der "Decke" nicht voll nutzen, er fand sie trotzdem chic. Die Verarbeitung scheint mir auch gut ausgeführt. Ich bin wirklich froh dieses Hilfsmittel gefunden zu haben, es liefert außerdem Gesprächsstoff.

Habe es zu einer demnenten Person ins Altersheim gebracht und es wurde sofort angenommen. Allerdings war es auch schnell verschwunden,weil jemand anderes es gleich weggenommen hat. Ein Feld für ein Namensschild wäre nicht schlecht. Aber ich denke es ist eine wirklich gute Beschäftigung für die Hände.
