We have some other "stick" mounted ones and this one is way better. It's manufactured better and it's HEAVY so it's not going to blow around. This just isn't the cheap ones that would be found elsewhere.

Looked really cute. Assembly so poor that the glue holding the pants on and connecting middle dissolved in the humid weather of Florida. Was never in rain, just dissolved in humidity. Would never buy again!Wish I could return it. Useless!!!Maybe good to sit on porch for Halloween but nothing else.

This is such a cute fall decoration and he's bigger than I had expected. It's pretty well made compared to my smaller dollar store versions of this. I love it!

I ordered the “Scarecrow” selection, which is the single, large scarecrow and not the two, much smaller scarecrows. Ever since recently travelling northward from my Florida home during the Fall season, I’ve wanted a large scarecrow like this to decorate with for Thanksgiving. The outdoor, Fall decorations up there, including large scarecrows like this one, were just so much more festive than anything I had ever seen down here in Florida, probably because those folks can actually see that Fall looks like a different season, whereas here, it’s just more, miserable Summer. Anyway, this scarecrow is exactly what I wanted, and I can’t wait to decorate with him ten whole months from now.His outfit looks perfect, and the quality feels good enough to last for years as a single-month decoration, not being overly thin or papery. His head seems to be filled with some sort of Styrofoam that maintains a perfectly firm shape while remaining extremely lightweight. His butt is filled with weighted pebbles or some such so that he executes a proper sit in a chair (how will I ever find a hay bail for him to sit atop like the ones I saw up yonder?). If you want him to stand up, I supposed you’d have to attach him to some sort of pole. I have a coat rack, so maybe that’s a possibility. His legs are basically empty other than some light stuffing that keeps them shaped appropriately, so they drape over whatever perfectly.Overall, I’m completely pleased with the quality and top-notch appearance of this decorative scarecrow, and I’m thrilled that he’s finally in my life.
