This is a great tasting mint a real taste of the olden days.

I wanted some mints so I looked at the ingredients of the ones available on Amazon. I may never eat restaurant mints again -- look at their ingredients and you'll see why.These have just three ingredients, nothing unnatural. They're terrific.

This is a high quality mint that has been around since the late 19th Century. I doubt very much that they had sugar free product back then, but this sugar free version of the classic North English mint really hits the spot for those of us who need to monitor our blood sugar. Strong, tasty, and completely satisfying!!!

You sell products in December 2019 that expire in March 2020? Leads me to believe that this is really old stock. So - if I give these as Christmas gifts and they're not used by March, the recipient needs to thrown them out? Your 'ad' should list the expiration date. I'd never have bought them if I'd known they expire in 90 days. Terrible. I can't give them as gifts now.

I had never heard of these before but I was willing to give them a try.I was expecting something like an extra firm after dinner mint. Like a spherical Altoids.They are individually wrapped in plastic inside the tin.The are not balls. They are hard candy lozenges, like starlight mints, or cinnamon discs, but brown and slightly translucent. Solid hard sugar.I like the mint flavor just fine. Not as intense as an Altoids.But I was looking for something softer than a hard candy.

My dad used to eat these when he was a kid - they've been around for a long time. They're actually very good and I've gotten hooked on them as well - simple ingredients. I try to keep my dad stocked, he won't be around forever and he loves them so it's a small thing to keep him well supplied, happy to be able to get them in North America. I'm sure I'm one of the top customers for these.

When I was visiting Manchester for work a few years ago, one of my colleagues gave me a tin of these as a gift / souvenir. She is from Wigan, where these are made. They have a really unique flavor that I've never quite tasted before. It's minty, with a hint of something that resembles molasses / maple / honey / horehound. It's quite hard to describe! If you like to keep hard candies on hand, give these a try. They're a great balance of sweet and minty. I've purchased more to restock!

When I was looking up the ingredients for these traditional English sweets I was amused to see 'Uncle Joe's Mint Balls' have their own Wikipedia page, including this unlikely line ' Despite their name, the mints are not truly spherical but oblate spheroids.' Anyway the ingredients are sugar, peppermint oil and cream of tartar, and they have a unique flavor among mints.Delicious- so glad so many of the old sweets are still being made, and they still taste the same!

This childhood favourite of mine arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I bought two jars, one as gift and one for me! I highly recommend them!

Individually wrapped, great tasting mints, expensive but definitely a guilty pleasure for me. I love them.

I mean, what's not to like... peppermints from Lancashire?!I have kept a supply of these on my desk at work for years, and I'm happy to introduce anyone and everyone to them. Every so often you hit a pocket of peppermint, and it properly clears out your sinuses. They're great for sore throats, bad breath, or just to stop people talking for five minutes.The 2 kg bags are great value, and mean we won't run out for a couple of months at least.
