BarrierScaly Leg Spray, 500 ml

I purchased this after discovering that our young Frizzle chicken had very bad scaly mites. I am a novice chicken keeper & bought the bird from a local farm. I imagined that the unusual legs were something to do with the breed!After seeing this condition online I researched various treatments & noticed that this was recommended by a number of people. I was amazed that after just two treatments the horrible mites were all but gone. I had thought that it was going to take months to get rid of but now just a few scales remain slightly raised so I am continuing to use the spray. I initially treated the legs by standing the bird in olive oil for several minutes & this also seemed to help whilst I was awaiting the arrival of the spray. On close inspection I noticed the legs looked a bit raw so was reluctant to use the surgical spirit treatment that others seem to recommend. Barrier is an excellent product that I will keep in stock in my chicken first aid kit.

Dose what it says it does work as soon as I started to use it with in a week my hen was walking with out her painful feet.

First time we have used this spray, but certainly easy to use.

We used a different brand before trying this and this is excellent compared to the previous one we used.Some of our girls have really bad scaly leg and this is really clearing it up. Would definitely recommend for a treatment as well as a preventive.

This stuff has worked wonders, after trying to find a method of ridding scaly leg mite from my chickens I've finally found something that works! Easy to apply, works well and I found that even applying once a week reduced the problem massively!

Good product cleared the scale from my chicken legs

Only just started to use this product, so can't as yet say how well it works.but it does have a much more pleasant smell than someother products i have previously used.

Been using it for months as directed two of my hens still got scaly legs .
