SkipDr Replacement Accessory Kit

It works as specified on skips, I don't know about deep scratches as this wasn't a problem of mine. The liquid is very expensive to replace, I had a lot of CD's to do, I had a bad idea and used methylated spirits which destroyed the wheel. I bought a new replacement wheel and got more liquid with that. I have since learnt that it is just very clean water so I bought a half litre of pure steam distilled water with zero ppm for a fraction of the price. The 4 star is because of the price of the liquid, other than that I'm very happy with it and the reconditioning of my CD's.

It is good I can get replacement accessories but I would have liked it if I could get the fluid on its own (the Flexiwheel is supposed to be good for 50 repairs but I was already running low on fluid after less than ten jobs). This makes it seem wasteful to not offer fluid on its own (Digital Innovations has this option on its website but it does not ship outside the United States).

If you have one of those busy families where the kids spend half their time running about and have the odd PS3 / wii, CD / DVD player, CD ROM games etc, then it is inevitable that something gets damaged. The SkipDr sorted this problem out for me but I figured it can't hurt to have some replacement wheels and cleaning fluid. Well worth putting in the cupboard for that day when the old wheel no longer works.

I bought this item with the SkipDr macine as I was concerned that I may need replacements and they may not be available easily.The kit gives a complete set of consumables for the SkipDr machine.I am very pleased with the machine and now feel reassured that when the initial disc is worn out I will be able to replace it immediately.

This is still the best way to clean discs.
