I bought these as extra poles to make the tarp with my caravan more adaptable and these were perfect for that.

Good quality lightweight poles. The only reason I have dropped a star is because the pin on the end isn’t removable, so you can’t use it in the middle of a tarp. Other than that it is decent quality, lightweight and easy to use. I wouldn’t hesitate have also liked button fixings rather than the friction grip but that’s personal preference.

Bought these instead of the extending type as those seemed to get poor reviews. These work well, are straightforward and simple. They slot together and so you can adjust the height in stages. Used with guy ropes (bought separately) and they withstood windy weather.

Easy to use and setup and easy to pack

Bit loose fit once connected ie. Slight movement. Nothing to be concerned about however at the price is for sale I'd have expected a tight fit. Other than that, I guess they are fine so far.

A nice strong set of poles that are ideal for keeping an awning or tarp supported at one end.The poles have the usual thick-one-end-thin-the-other arrangement to slide into each other. There's a novel spring arrangement that creates extra friction to keep them together, but they pull apart easy enough. There is a little screech as the spring rubs against the inside of the other tube though and may remove paint inside the tube leading to a point for corrosion.Two of the sections have a spike on the top to go through eyelets in your sheet. You get two tent pegs with a small bit of rope which can anchor the bottom pegs down. Tow sections have rubber caps at the bottom for on hard surfaces.All comes with a drawstring bag and seems good enough. A little expensive maybe, and could have done with a slightly better way to keep the base pole where it should be (maybe two more pegs or another mounting method for additional ties, weights, etc.).
