Bandai Super Robot Chogokin Grendizer & Spazer Action Figure Japan Import

Sia il modellino di Goldrake (Grendizer in giapponese) che il disco volante (Spazer) sono di buona fattura, ben colorati se paragonati ad oggetti simili in vendita. Ma badate bene, hanno parti comunque delicate che non ne consentono l'utilizzo come giocattoli da parte di bambini, sono dei bei modellini da esposizione. Il prezzo è giusto, ma non economico pertanto non avrebbe senso farlo maneggiare da persone poco attente. Per il divertimento dei bambini esistono modellini in plastica più o meno rigida a prezzi più contenuti.

For fans of the classic Anime Robot show Grendizer (Goldorak for our Spanish and French speaking friends) This is far and away the best interpretation of the character and his classic ride the Spazer yet produced. And that is a long list to compare against. Bandai has made tons of versions of Grendizer over the years. As have other producers. Fewture, CM's, Evolution Toys, HLPro, Yamato. Pretty much every maker of Giant Robot Toys and Die Cast has made a version of Grendizer. Of them this one is far and away the best of the bunch. he's also one of the smaller ones. But not in a bad way. The Robot is a standard Bandai Super Robot Chogokin figure. So it's about 5" tall. Roughly the same as Mazinger Z and Getter 1. Which is as it should be. Grendizer shares Mazinger Z's utterly astonishing articulation. This is far and away the most poseable Grendy yet made. Proportions are good. (grendizer is a hard one to judge his proportions shift around a bit in the anime). Like Mazinger Z he is a little lean and muscular in SRC form, but that is within keeping with the Super Posing line. His sculpt and paint are superb. everything we could want. The combined SRC grendizer and Spazer set has a slightly different version of Grendizer than the stand alone SRC grendizer. While the Stand alone has a more metalic or real looking Grendizer with common robot toy silver applied to the upper legs and arms, the Spazer packaged version comes in more anime accurate colors with those sections in a bright white. It is quite striking and looks great. The robot has a decent amount of die cast. All die cast in the set is in the robot. The Spazer, Grendizers flying saucer, is all ABC plastic. It is well sculpted, well shaped, and for the first time ever, properly scaled to the robot. This is the first time that the robot fits inside the ship without needing special compression or disassembly. It's also one of the few where the robots arms fit snuggly into the rim of the ship. The Spazer comes with a modified Tamashii Act stand to support it in flight. Honestly if you are going to display it long term I would swap it out with a Flightpose for better stability. The included stand does the job, but worries me in a cross breeze. This is the single best Grendizer set yet released, surpassing even it's older bigger brother the Soul of Chogokin GX-04S. For robot collectors this one is a MUST HAVE. A core of any collection. Also note if you already own the stand alone SRC grendizer, the Spazer is available on its own.
