Great space saver for multiple monitors
So because all reviews for all flavors of this product are mixed together (number of arms, freestanding/grommet/C-clamp, etc.) I'm going to specify at the outset that I have the 4-arm C-clamp mount.I started with two monitors for my PC and consolidated my entertainment onto this desk, so I added a third monitor with an HDMI switch for my consoles and Roku. This was already taxing my available space since three monitors don't really fit all in a row on this desk, ending up blocking off a lot of space that went unused on the desk surface. Then I got a second PC with another display and I was officially out of room. I had a monitor on a TV tray in front of my filing cabinet.Generally I trust freestanding more than a C clamp given that the strength of the bolt is basically all that's holding your stuff up so the freestanding base just *feels* safer, especially given that most of us have fiberboard desks made of wood shavings and glue. It was unlikely that I would have the requisite space to fit the freestanding base however, so I decided to go with the C-clamp. I didn't see any "fell apart like a Chinese motorcycle and now I have 4 broken monitors" reviews, so I felt confident enough in it.Two of my monitors already had VESA brackets on them but it seems like each mount has their own version of what's supposed to be standard mounting hardware. The brackets from my old stand were not wide enough to fit the new mount, so it's only a small annoyance I guess. Quick swap of hardware before attaching the other two plates to the other two monitors, done.So after about five minutes of figuring the finer points out on my own -- since the instructions are pretty bare-bones and don't even cover things like attaching the upper half of the center pole -- I've got the arms attached loosely and the two halves of the vertical pole put together. It's already leaning a degree or two forward. Given the weight of the mount itself it's not surprising I guess, but it makes me nervous for when I actually put displays on it.So the bottom half seems pretty stable. I put one monitor on the left side and walked away for a good 35 seconds before coming back with the second monitor and putting that on, so it's got that going for it. I was not willing to take that chance on the upper ones though, so I asked a friend to mount one at the same time I did the other. The thing has a lean of about 4.5 degrees now with 30 pounds of weight on it, which I have to admit makes me a little nervous given that physics multiples weight the further away from the center it gets. It has yet to lean any further than that, so hopefully it'll just stay put. I'll be honest and say that this mount is getting 1 star and a scathing review edit if it fails because it's gonna break at least $2000 worth of stuff in the calamity. In all, I love it. I'm able to be extremely lazy on my days off from work and don't even need to rotate my chair to get at all the entertainment I want. Some suggestions to go along with this product. This made a big difference in my work station.
This is very sturdy. It is holding 4 monitors. We have two of them. One for me, one for my husband. Just make sure your desk is strong enough for the C-Clamp. I'm "not" worried that the monitors will fall off or fall down because the whole unit feels strong. Good options for bringing the monitor closer or farther away, up/down. Has been a good investment for my work station.

GREAT PRODUCT!!! Sturdy and easy to install!
If you ever NEED four monitors, this is the product to use, even if your desk is non-standard, this will fit. I primarily work from home as a Technician, writing detailed documentation, supporting multiple websites, and multiple applications using two different laptops. My desk is actually a counter height table, not designed as a standard office desk, however, the Stand Steady Monitor Stand worked seamlessly and I had everything assembled in less than a hour. Running cables and sorting connections, that took a bit longer!-] So, if you're researching, trying to find the right 3-Monitor Stand ... THIS IS IT! [I especially love that they remembered to build in slots. on the cable management collars, for the Allen wrenches for future use. Pretty nifty!-] Thanks again!!!

Sturdy and Functional but Missing One Thing
The only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is it’s missing one key adjustment. There needs to be a small vertical adjustment to account for slight differences in the manufacturing of each arm.Much like myself, would imagine that you would buy this product to attach 4 monitors of equal size. And, you would want to align those monitors to butt up right next to each other. The problem I ran into was there is a very slight and imperceptible difference in the manufacturing of one arm. This caused one monitor below to sag leaving a half inch gap between the top monitor. I had to jury rig in a few washers to shift it up a bit.Realize that manufacturing of things like this is not perfect, and in the case of something like this there should be a small adjustment to raise up, or down, each monitor independently of the other, by one inch in either direction, to account for such inconsistencies.Otherwise it’s a great monitor stand! The other movements are smooth and solid. Fits together well and simple to assemble. Also the cord gatherers are very helpful and keeps everything organized.

Perfect
I purchased this about a year ago. It mounts multiple ways. I have a large table as a desk, so it's mounted with the wingnut clamp. The articulation of the arms makes a wide variety of options for setting up the monitors, and you can move them around as much as you want without worrying about the base moving. It's sturdy and very nice all around. I would recommend this to anyone setting up a 4-monitor system. I'm actually adding another two monitors above the 4. There's additional space if you mount the first monitors close to the base. I'm not worried a bit about the base supporting the weight of 6, 24-inch monitors.

Pretty flexible on what you want to do with it
So this came in before the New additi0onal monitor, but I set it up anyway, and its easy to have that single large monitor appear in the middle, and I will be able to move it out when its duplicate ones in next week .IMac will be located on the top (again, once the bracket comes in) and I will be pretty set. I suspect I will keep staring at the open space available for yet another monitor and do that.Setup was good from the product point of view, I shoaled have looked at my desk a little closer, I had to cut into the back wall to use the clapping system to hold the arms.Seems very sturdy and came with a set of different screws to attach the monitors which was a nice touch Also all Allen wrenches needed for assembly and adjustment come in the box (you will need a Phillips for the monitor attachment )
