A good plug, but beware if you can't force your phone to 2.4GHz
Smart plugs are becoming easier to use and find, and this is a good option at a nice price. Setup is simple and done via the Smart Life app...as long as you can connect to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. Unfortunately that's where I ran into problems with my Pixel 2 XL and Google WiFi. Google WiFi broadcasts one SSID whereas some routers broadcast a separate 2.4 and 5GHz, and recent versions of Android no longer let you choose the band in this case, so my equipment is partially to blame, but in this day and age it is a bit disappointing to see lack of 5GHz support in any WiFi device. Once I dug out my Nexus 4 and forced it to 2.4GHz setup was a breeze. I was able to quickly link my Smart Life account with Google Assistant and controlling the plug via Google Home worked flawlessly. The plug can also be controlled by Alexa, though I don't have one to test out. My other complaint is that the plug too big and covers the second outlet. There are many options these days for smaller plugs that don't cover the second outlet, though usually at twice the price or more. For the price this plug offers good value and the Google Assistant and Alexa integration makes it useful. Still, I'd be willing to pay a bit more for 5GHz and a smaller footprint.

Affordable and simple
A bit bulky, but worked right out of the box. Took a couple of attempts to connect to WiFi. Very easily connected to Alexa. Has worked just as it should so far.

Disappointed that I can’t get it to work with Alexia
I purchased these because they were certified to work with Alexia. I’ve followed all the directions and was able to get the plugs to connect to the WiFi but have not been able to get them to work with Alexia. Tried to contact support but no luck.
