Great book
I enjoy reading books regarding living one's best life and this one is at the top. It is a very good book with useful tools to help one to get there. Kimberly has a warm and open way of writing and her ideas are practical and doable. When applied, they really do make a difference! Loved this book and also bought the 52 Weeks of Tranquility Journal, that I have also really enjoyed. She is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. (I read Tranquilista prior to reading this book.). You won't be disappointed.

A great monthly companion
This book presents just the right amount of nurturing and "to do's" each month to make your life not just more tranquil, but also more engaged. Every month has more ideas on things to do to become a better 'you.' My favorite thus far is to take an attractive page from a catalog or magazine and recycle it in to a month long list of goals, complete with check off boxes; it is then kept near you to serve as a constant reminder on what you want to accomplish that particular month. Nice writing style and sweet illustrations as well.

Not quite what I expected
Like I indicated in the headline -- this is not quite what I was expecting. It has a little bit of everything in it and in some cases you have to ignore some of the more mundane common sense ideas to find a few hidden gems. A couple of those hidden gems changed the rating from a 3 to a shaky 4 so it is not all bad. If you are in introvert like myself, there are parts of this book that will not appeal to you at all. Some of the monthly craft ideas are hit and miss. I really liked her monthly OMWork and Suggested resources. That made it a solid 4-star in my opinion. I liked the OMWork idea so much that I incorporated it into my homemade day planner as set reminders to take time out for ME. This book is enjoyable to read in short snippets and is not at all preachy like some other similar books that I donated after reading because they were annoyingly bossy. Although I must admit by the time I reached June I was thoroughly over the fact that she had spent time in France. She is obviously a serious. Francophile. Repeating this same information over and over in each and every chapter can become annoying. This book has joined the pass to friends pile.

Jam Packed with Inspiration and Ideas
I've read and/or used a number of books in this genre, and I am most pleased with this one. It has many, many ideas and action prompts, and is beautifully designed and illustrated! I plan to use it to help me keep on track this year. Kimberly Wilson has several other yearly guide/planner/datebook type publications, but I think following along the year with this one will be doable for me. The book is reasonably priced for the quality and amount of content. Thank you, Kimberly!

J'adore Tranquilologie
I love Kimberly Wilson's outlook on life and have been an avid fan since buying and reading both Hip Tranquil Chick and Tranquilista. Tranquilologie does not disappoint. It's a fun, beautiful, and a trés magnifique book full of colorful illustrations, monthly positive quotes, ideas, and a yoga influenced guide to self-care and mindfulness. As a yoga mom and school counselor juggling work and family on a daily basis, it's easy to forget to stop, breathe, relax and be present. Self-care is so important and Wilson's Tranquilologie: A DIY Guide to Everyday Tranquility is the best inspirational self-care book out there.
