Great stuff! I live in the South of France and my poor ponies have midges that go in their ears and draw blood, plus horse flies which particularly favour the sheath of one pony. I put the gel on the outside of the ears and slightly inside, when they don't have their fly masks on and on the sheath - really effective for at least 24 hours.

Magic stuff. Particularly great if you wash the sore area with the neem shampoo first. Face wounds from sweet itch went from raw and red to dry in a day!

This product came highly recommended by several people in the horse community, but it didn't suit my horse at all. He has a small patch of dry itchy skin between his front legs which wasn't really bothering him much but I wanted to try and improve it. After applying this gel there and along his belly line to deter flies, the following day I found it had clearly irritated him as he'd bitten himself so badly he'd broken the skin and it was all swollen and sore in both places. I washed off carefully with hibi scrub and applied wound powder and its now improving, but be careful if you use this in-case your horse has a reaction similar to mine.

Not very happy with purchase flies seemed to like the smell!! Didn't give our lovely shire mare any relief at all
