Canola Blossom honey is a monofloral honey made from the flower nectar and pollen of rapeseed or canola (Brassica napus). It crystallizes rapidly and has a sweet-peppery flavour. The smell of the honey is reminiscent of rapeseed flowers, somewhat oily, but faintly floral nevertheless. The honey has a medium taste intensity, with a moderately-low sweetness. It is known to possess antibacterial and antioxidant effects which are reinforced through the addition of propolis.
