The belt served my original purpose of walking through security checkpoints at airports with a breeze. The prong unfortunately broke once under a stressful situation. I should have been more careful not treating it like a metal one. I'm quite happy with the vendor's swift offer response to replace it. I would recommend it as long as you know how to use it correctly as well as when not to use it. So, I will still fly with it. 😃

This is the 2nd time I've purchased this belt. The first one broke after about 4 years of use. It works great and is nonmetal. When i travel to nuclear power plants, it doesn't set off the metal detectors.

I fly frequently and bought this belt two times because it looks good (passes for genuine leather from afar), and has a good looking buckle/hardware but that is plastic, so negates the need to remove it when going through metal detectors at airport security. Unfortunately the plastic buckle is extremely cheap belying its looks, and even though I wear it loose, has broken while wearing it, standing/not even sitting, both times. Total garbage, save your money. And of course, as far as I know, there’s no recourse either with it coming from a random faceless Amazon third-party seller.

It's a non metallic belt. Great build. Buckle is relatively thick plastic. Not going to last forever but definitely durable for my needs. I work at a power plant and needed it for electrical safety. It's also nice not having to worry about metal buckle setting off metal detector even though it usually wasn't a problem for me.

The belt buckle is good quality and never causes any skin irritation. But for the price, this thing just crumbles apart shockingly fast.The belt itself begins splitting apart after wearing it just a few times. It's very frustrating because otherwise, this would be a great product. I've actually ordered 2 of them (hoping it was a fluke the first time), but the same thing happened to my second one.To the manufacturer: Is there anything you can do to fortify the belt itself to make it bend without splitting? If you can do that, you would turn a 2 star reviewer into a lifetime customer, and I bet I'm not alone.

On one hand, the leather is pretty damn decent and the metal-free buckle solves the skin irritation issue. Even the Zero Nickel belts were still causing issues. These are great.On the other hand, they haven’t gotten the compound quite right for the buckle. They’re too brittle and the two that I’ve bought so far have both broken at the pin (term?) that goes through the hole in the belt. Both times, it snapped from every day use… I’m not wearing it ridiculously tight or throwing it around by any means. It’s just too brittle. Both lasted less than 6 months. The leather belt itself still looks brand new.At the end of the day, I haven’t found a better alternative. We’re going to try a 3rd one, cross our fingers I get more than 6 months out of it, and if not, I’m just going start my own belt brand and start importing these things myself with a longer warranty.

This is a solid belt that has beautiful leather and stitching. Worked perfectly at the airport and with security screening. Would recommend

Desde nacimiento he tenido una alergia molesta de contacto directo con el metal, por lo que no podía usar cinturones convencionales. Este cinturón es una muy buena opción para aquellas personas con una alergia como la mía. Es de muy buena calidad, me queda la talla tal como debe de y lo mejor es que el plástico también es de buena calidad, aguanta de todo.

Très bon palliatif contre les allergies au nickel puisque la boucle est en plastique. Au bout de 2 semaines d'utilisation quotidienne, la boucle n'a pas encore cassée. Le plastique a l'air résistant. Mon conjoint peut maintenant porter une ceinture tous les jours alors qu'avant, il devait attendre 1 semaine entre chaque utilisation à cause de son allergie au nickel qui lui causait l'apparition de petits boutons rouges au niveau de la boucle. Le cuir de la ceinture a l'air d'assez bonne qualité aussi.
