Easy to Do Bath Bomb Kit & a Great Value
This bath bomb kit was a hit with my daughter. The instructions were clear and everything you need is in the kit. I really like that you get 3 different 3-D shaped bath bomb molds. You get a small spherical mold, small hexagon shaped mold and a large spherical mold. The molds are easy to use because the 2 pieces snap together making it easier to form and hold the bath bomb mix. You can get really creative with this kit and add any dried herbs or flowers that you have on hand. My daughter added some dried lavender buds from our garden to a couple of the bath bombs. You also can make multi-colored bath bombs or mix the mica colorants together to form your own color. Also included are three mica powder colorants ( pink, purple, and blue). a packet of silver glitter, two fragrances ( cotton candy and strawberry scented), and 5 packets each of baking soda and bath bomb mix. This also has a container labeled coconut oil, but if you read the ingredients on the back of the box, it is not 100% coconut oil but rather a blend of petrolatum jelly, coconut oil and wax. So, we did not use the included "coconut oil" and ended up substituting sunflower oil. The finished bath bombs using the sunflower oil came out really nice and did not leave a greasy residue in the tub. Overall, a fun experience and the bath bombs fizzed beautifully for her.

Fun
These were fun to make. The only down side is once you use them in your bath tub they leave a hard to get off Ring around your tub.

Not used this yet
I bought this for our granddaughter for Christmas. It appears to be a very fun gift for her to experiment with. I think that she’s going to love it. The only problem I have is when I was reading the description on Amazon it appeared that the ingredients were all non-toxic. I wasn’t able to completely verify that. I added a picture of the ingredients list above, but it is extremely hard to read. It is as hard to read in person as it is on the photo. I’m not sure if that was purposeful or not. After my granddaughter uses the set, and I get her feedback if she is not 100% thrilled I will update my review.

Fun but stains
We had fun making these bath bombs but they stain and or leave a residue after a bath. Be prepared to have to scrub your tub down afterwards. .

A fun project!
I bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas and she loved it! Definitely requires adult supervision and help. Everything is labeled and the instructions are easy to follow and include pictures of step by step. The box says it makes 5 bath bombs, but thats only if you make all small ones. The large mold requires 2 bath bomb packs. We made one large and 3 small bath bombs. The two scents both smell great and the bombs look and work just like ones you'd buy from the store. I would definitely recommend buying this. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed it.

Shouldve spent more money on a higher quality kit
I should have just ordered a cosmetic grade kit but I waited to the last minute for my daughter's birthday and grabbed this. While the kids loved this project, it stained the tub horribly. The kids needed a shower after their bath. Makes me question the safety of it. I am glad we opted to not use the glitter. Seems like it wouldve caused a horrible mess in addition to the ataining in the tub.edit: just read another review that the cocnut oil is really coconut oil mixed with petroleum and wax. now it makes sense why my kids' skin was so slick while trying to wash them and why it all stuxk to the tub. seems really deceiving. also makes sense as to why it was so difficult to melt in the microwave.

Affordable diy bath bombs for kids
This was a great arts & crafts with the kids (3 years and 7 years old. I substituted the coconut oil with jojoba oil based on reviews about the tub stickiness. The kids easily followed directions and mixed their batch. One turned out too watery while the second was dry.We still added them in the mold and placed them in the freezer for 20-30 minute which helped so much.We used the glitter in one of the boxes and it left some cleaning to do but wasn’t bad.It makes about one Large mold, two small molds.I recommend getting two boxes for 1+ kids activity.Another tip is to place garbage bags (cut them wide and tape it on the table) because it will make some mess while pouring the batch in the bowl.
