The build quality isn’t bad but it’s not quite up there with premium tools. However, these work just fine and they tested well on several runs of fiber that are thousands of feet long and the results were identical to the shops much more expensive tester, so I can testify to the accuracy of the unit. The screen is a little bit hard to read, and that may be my age, but it’s almost like the back light is too bright and I can’t see the numbers that well. But considering what some of the expensive units cost, this is a decent alternative if you need a meter and don’t have hundreds of dollars to spend.

I ordered the Two Pack, only received One, and it was previously opened. Items were loose inside box and box was not sealed. Appears to be bait and switch.

These are individuals which makes replacing one easy. With new AA batteries, both function, but one of the pair does not work as well as the other. There are LCD icons that cannot be seen on the main screen unless viewed at an angle. This does not affect the operation of the unit, but did slip by quality control. They are lightweight and powerful enough to test a nearly 3500 ft run of 50/125 om 4 fiber. Results are the same as testers at a much higher price point, so they are a great value. Easy to set up and adjust with just a few buttons for controls. Backlighting in bright as well. A case would make the difference to keep the adapters together. Different fiber adapters are easy enough to swap out via screw on connection.
