Q: Is there any indication of when the batteries are low/run out or do you just find cat mess in your garden again to know it's not working?

There is no indication of low battery but even with a new set of batteries we have found cat mess in front of it. Very disappointed with it. In fact bloody useless

Birds do not seem to be affected by this device...cats take a while to get the idea that they are NOT wanted.

It just klick when it starts and the light will flash, it works well just unfortunate we have teenagers round us and it upset there ears, very cross as it was the first thing that worked on the cats
