Opticaddy© SATA-3 HDD/SSD Caddy for HP Elitebook 2530p 2540p OptiSpeed Technology - replaces optical drive (original adapter)

Fits a HP2450p (as advertised), which is a good start.I stupidly bought a HP 2450p without realising its original 100GB HDD boot drive was a 1.8" model, so very expensive (£100+) to replace. Buying this caddy allowed me to put my spare 2.5" 120GB SSD in the caddy and set the netbook to boot 'from the caddy' rather than the old hard drive.Works fine - as I didn't need the original DVD optical drive for anything. Together with a £15 replacement battery I now have a very nice little refurbished i7 netbook.Fixed my original mistake at minimum additional cost.
