FORMULA 420 CLEANER - GLASS, METAL & CERAMIC CLEANSER [12 FL OZ]

I never write reviews and I'm skeptical of products like this, but I bit the bullet and bought one. Here's everything you need to know.1. It doesn't smell awful. Upon opening the bottle, you get a whiff of isopropyl alcohol.2. You need to shake the bottle VERY vigorously. There's crystals sitting in the bottom that contribute to the "no scrubbing" power of the cleaner. Make sure you get crystals in your smoking piece and not *just* the liquid. Yes, they dissolve (mine did through 4 honeycombs - 18 inch glass piece). I did the first pour and it still worked, but not as good as it did on the second pour with the crystals mixed in better.3. It definitely takes longer than 1 minute if your piece is CAKED with resin and build up. I neglected my beautiful piece for many months because I was in the middle of moving, I went through some things, life happened. I thought my piece was guaranteed done for after I had stopped caring for it regularly and keeping it clean, and I figured, "let me try this solution before I yeet the piece out and splurge on a new one." I didn't think a product like this would be able to clean it anyways.So what happened? One 12oz bottle later and roughly 30 minutes of shaking, my glass is 85% cleaner than what it was. I do need a 2nd bottle for my situation personally, but most people will only need one or a fraction of one.4. When I ran out of solution, I mixed dawn dish soap, isopropyl alcohol, and fine salt together and shook it a few more times. The isopropyl will disinfect your piece and remove any remaining residue from the 420 solution along with the dawn (degreaser). Rinse your piece thoroughly if you're worried about anything from the solution being left behind and finding it's way inside your body. The salt will dissolve with the iso.Use hot water when rinsing, but don't forget to slowly bring your glass or ceramic to temperature by putting it under cold water, then warm, and hot to follow. Exposing it to extremely high temperatures when the material is colder is grounds for disaster. Your piece can fracture or shatter from the inside out.5. I regret not taking a before and after picture. I was so ashamed of the before, but beyond pleased with the after that I now wish I had decided to just take the before pic. The difference is really night and day.6. The reviews on this item and the price is what sold me. There is a caked up piece in the review images, and mine is way worse than that, but it cleaned that person's piece and it definitely cleaned mine! The resin melted away. Other review images for different show people cleaning mildly dirty or used pieces, so I was unsure if it was strong enough for my purpose, which is why I went with 420 over competitors. I can't wait for my 2nd bottle to finish this off and be able to use my beloved once again (and maintain it). Please maintain your pieces and you won't have to resort to buying this like me, but I will buy it again because it worked!

I have a Sherlock style pipe that while I try to stay on top of cleaning regularly was gunked up in the curve and nothing was cleaning it out, until this product, I dropped it into a ziploc poured in this product shook it off and on for about 5 mins, having to stop once and rinse the salt that was clogged, but my pipe is now near brand new, I will be relying on this product to keep things clean from now on. I have smaller pipes and one "snack size" Ziploc was enough to clean the stubborn pipe and another bowl that needed to be cleaned. So I probably can get 3 or 4 more uses out of this bottle. No issues with the salt clumping in the bottle or leaking in the box for me

I'm totally blown away. I read the reviews but remained skeptical. I believed it would be impossible to clean what I needed due to how bad it was. Followed directions and wow. This thing is surely magical. Left it like brand new in minutes. I showed my wife the results, she said " no way that did that". I said " I can't believe it either if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Truly an amazing product.

Came as described. Solid glass cleaner for my waxy piece. Left then looking Better than ever.Better value than at the smoke shops

Works pretty good, but you end up using a half bottle to clean a bong. Ive found rubbing alcohol ($1) and some salt ($3) work best.

Cleaned great 100% would buy again. My piece look like new and even hits better

Amazing product..i used to have to soak my stuff in alcohol for a day or two, but this stuff has it perfectly clean in about a minute..
